A belated thank you to everyone on this thread for all the kind words, as well as for the support of the 500 or so people who have already kicked in to support the book. We honestly had no idea what the reaction would be, and we've been blown away by the response so far.

To answer a few questions that have come up:

• Currently there are no plans to widely distribute the book beyond this limited edition run, so if you want a copy, the only way to guarantee you'll get one is to order through the Kickstarter campaign (which ends August 29). If you miss this one, you'll have to wait 30 more years for the 50th anniversary edition.

• The book will be a minimum of 250 pages long, but depending on the final funding level we're hoping to expand it beyond even that. Regardless, we'll be rolling all of the money raised into making this the best book possible, and I don't think you'll be disappointed.
