When I grabbed my MG100 and stock last year I thought, hmm, kinda dumb no one is making a 4500 psi version of the 13's, but ok. Honestly do not care if it is carbon fiber or not. It's so small it doesn't matter IMO. This was an oversight. Competition will make aluminum and hit the market at $100- $125......profit. $219 for a niche magfed tank is idiotic, but that's just my opinion.

Yeah Dye already has a 15ci tank as well, not sure if itís the same manufacturer or what since it was never sold in North America. It will be interesting for sure to see if Dye enters the NA market after this announcement

There is no 4500 aluminum tanks that I know of, the only way to get a 4500 is with carbon and kevlar, thatís why these all cost so much compared to conventional aluminum tanks. Itís not in everyoneís budget but...

Will HK come out with a special Ripper version that includes lube? That's what Magfeeders really want.

Got my tank last week because was curious. Got 270 shots at 285 fps with HK ARMY tournament paint shooting a CMM J11 with an Earon Carter 14 inch barrel.

So, i was just looking at the numbers for this tank.

Volume x Pressure = Energy, so 15 x 4500 = 67,500inlbs^2.

With 250inlbs^2 being the average energy usage per shot, you should get about 270 shots per. [Looks up at SeuDog] Perfect.

For a pump player or magfed this could be just what they want. The price isn't so high I wouldn't get it. I used to love a nice 9oz vertical tank.

We don't just throw a dart at the "pricing board" and hope it sticks.

Carbon fiber tanks require more labor than regular aluminum tanks. Surprisingly enough, a 15cu carbon fiber air system cost nearly the same as much larger tanks. Why? Labor.

This isn't just for magfed. It is also for pump guys, 50cals, and rental(think super light weight setup for little Jimmy or Tom Cole).

Itís a bargain in my eyes, I imported the dye 15/45 with a ph reg cost me almost 450. But that was 18 months ago before this was ever announced. So I went for it.

To my knowledge there is no 4500psi aluminum tanks out there. CF is where itís at for 4.5k bottles.

Itís pricey but so so nice. Support the economy and go for it.
