For the longest time I have always wanted to find a small piece of land where I could set up a scenario paintball field or a woodsball field. Sadly where I live there are numerous restrictions on paintballing which makes it hard to find a piece of land that would work. Slowly my favorite paintball fields started to close and go out of business and whenever I would go to other fields the players that I would play against were total *******s. I am a father and my son plays paintball as well so I was always protective of the ******* players whenever he would go with me to the fields. The last thing I wanted is to have him get bonus balled or seriously hurt. So this also motivated me into trying to buy my own place where we could paintball with family and friends.

After a couple of years of shopping around I finally found a perfect place! By perfect I mean that there are no neighbors around me to complain. There is no property around me to damage accidentally. On one side there is a rail road and to the other side there is a body of water. This place is perfect! 1 acre of paintball heaven!

It still needs some work, I need to round up my paintball friends and we need to clear some foliage and bushes to create walkways....but the dream has finally become a reality! Our own private paintball field!

Here is a pic of the small creek that borders the area that I bought.

I will post more pics as we get field ready. We have to wait for the weather to warm up.

Too cool. I'd love to have enough land for my own field. My backyard is just a hair too small for an airball field.

Thank You guys for the kind words! I can wait until the weather gets warmer so I can start to set up the field. My major concern right now is trying to figure out the easiest and less costly option to keeping our air tanks full....all these compressors are expensive.

Scuba tanks is your only option. You can buy fill adapters for a tank. Good luck!!!

Yeah other than scuba tanks, you could look for a used system from a dive shop or fire department but they are going to be relatively expensive. You can get used scuba tanks for around $100 each.

I’d recommend looking into the Bulk 50 pound storage Tanks if you don’t plan on getting a compressor.

We did this back in 2012 to make a training ground for UWL. It took a lot of time to keep woodworking and brush hogging so we had lane to shoot and run to flip flags.

Within two years we got rid of the scuba gear and just all played Phantom pumps that ran off 12 g. By 2015 we didn’t want to spend the time doing the maintenance.

Now it’s just a wooded lot I drive past we own that has increased in value. you’re not making any more land, so the cost will always go up.
