Angel A1 problems

Two problems I have with an A1 I bought on eBay as a project:

I can’t get the threaded front cap retainer pin out. I got a M2 screw at Home Depot that threads in, but when I pull on the screw, it moves a little bit but feels like it is hitting something and won’t come out. What am I missing? UPDATE: I finally wiggled the pin out. I have rarely felt so triumphant.

The HPR large piston only has four Bellevue washers instead of 6. How over/under-pressurized will the output pressure be?

removing a shim and flipping another (or removing 2) is how you get the angels to run on HP tank outputs. Im guessing the guy that had it before you was using a HP tank instead of the LP tank.

I use ninja tanks set to about 600psi. Will the HPR work...?

You'd be better off returning to the original spring stack configuration if you're to be running mid or low pressure tank output. You'll get a better range of effective output pressure. If you're able to chrono properly though, it's no big deal.

Just make sure when you chrony you test a good fast string to make sure you don' have any drop off issues. I'd also return to the stock config if you can russle up some shims.
