I have a big tube and it separates if I forget to shake it a bit before use. Not a huge deal. That lube + the Gamma Core has to equal near nuclear armageddon-like reliability.

That's crazy stealthy. I have had no separation even when keeping it in my hot garage.

I mean it's not a huge deal or anything. Shake the tube, apply the grease. Very similar to a lot of paintball greases I've used.

Same thing happens to my dye grease as well. If I don't use it for like a month or two I have to shake it to mix it up before I use it. It still performs great. Just as good as any other lube I've used. That being said, I only play about once a month and shoot a case between two or three markers when I go out, so I'm certainly not a power user like most people in this thread.

I wasn’t able to play this weekend, a huge bummer, but I got around to chatting with some insider folks. Here’s some stuff I kind of found out. Also, this thread is steadily on it’s way to break 200k views. I’m trying to do something a little special for the occasion.
Got word from a trusted source that Paintball Extravaganza will not happen in Q1. It might not happen this year too. This is unofficial, just his thoughts when I asked.
Also no new Vanquish in development... but ya never know if the Vanquish name was retired and replaced with a new name. Like the Axe and Syx. But still I take it that there is no new high end in development. I’d like my assumptions to be incorrect in this case, just saying.
DLX just may be working on a legit home run with their new Luxe. I’m unable to afford the ultimate luxury version ( Adrenaline ), but everything I’m hearing about the new release sounds very promising.

With the Bankrupys of the GI. I don't expect anything new for 12-24 months. That's usually how it goes. Then as far as DLX I believe they have a home run when they clean house on their tech support and get people who actually care and respond. but teams at a local field got a fresh shipment of amps and 3 out of 5 did not work out of the box looks like the most recent batch had bad eyes. They gotta fix these QC issues ASAP.

Last practice I heard from someone there that he has a new prototype Solenoid Housing for the Dye M3 series Markers that apparently has inserts or some way of adjusting the airflow.
Anyone else heard of this or have one?

That sounds like a cool idea, but you would think it would be dangerous to allow users like some speedballers who can’t even maintain their markers change inserts in a manifold.

the chances of PE offering a mech only cs2 like the with the M170R is pretty low right?

I too foresee a potential for reliability issues, but maybe they've designed with that in mind.

I do have to say, Russell and Corey Field have gone above and beyond to help me. I still don’t understand the one tech who just stopped talking to me after I pointed out that my eyes ( in my X ) wouldn’t register a ball in place if I had the gun tilted down or back, like it had to be level for the eyes to read. In defense of SP and even Dye and many other manufacturers, some stuff gets passed QC and onto the customer. Field One seems like they nailed the process though, but they are also dealing with smaller batches of guns too. Planet Eclipse is numero uno in this category imho.

If it’s in Florida I’m guessing Billy Wing has something to do with it. I’d ask him.

Yeah, dude said he got it from Billy but asked if I already had one? I don’t know BWing lol...
Definitely interested in this new Solenoid Housing though.
Wonder how adjustable it is?
Like min and max airflow? Hopefully it’s able to be adjusted to less airflow than the M3+ but then it would probably need more Dwell time too.
Sounds like Dye has some things in development!

Besides 3 pieces being raw the lil mini video I did this past weekend
https://youtu.be/_4E2RTL56hE
shows the next gen Luxe internals. It isn't close up views and I didn't discuss everything but you can spot some stuff.
Only variation between those internals and ours is the dark grey parts.🤙

There's a difference between QC issues and design issues. In regards to what you're referring to with DLX/SP breech-ball interaction, that's a design issue.

Charlie, I think I know what it is... I wonder if it’s a drop in upgrade for current M3s/+’s, or something being tested for the next Matrix. Maybe backwards compatibility. That way current M3 owners don’t feel left out and bst prices don’t take as drastic of a drop.
@James,
The efficiency for either version- mech or electro, is looking amazing. Paint handling is too. Any chance you can make me an ultra unicorn edition and produce a single trigger electro frame for me? This would be the stuff dreams are made of... The NEO Luxe.
Imped, I know. I’d like to see the breech shrink in all of their future releases.

It's likely the dude is referring to one of the test units Billy used with 3d printed plugs. That's really old.

Interesting, first I’ve heard of it.
An adjustable Solenoid Housing would be nice...

Yeah, the range of adjustment: m3s - m3+. Nothing in between even showed up on the pressure trace.

The only oils I've ever used are PE and Tri-Flow (per the recommendation in Bob's manuals). No one mentioned Tri-Flow on the preceding page. Is it OK or should I just stick with the PE stuff?
I just looked up Tri-Flow. It appears to contain petrol. I guess that means the answer is to stop using it? I've only ever used tiny amounts on bolt o-rings so I doubt I've done much damage.
Oops, I remember I did use the Airgun designs oil back in the day (only on my Mag), I think it must've been Gold Cup but if I recall correctly it had an AGD logo on it.

This probably just means they've improved their Gamma clone. That's not a home run...maybe a single in slow-pitch senior league softball.
