Anyone have insight on when the DSR 2 will be released?

Hopefully next year lol.
I really have no idea but I would like to see an updated or even high end version...

Isn’t that what the m3 is for?
Not really sure what else you could do beside include a 3pc (1 front 2 backs) ULS barrel kit, and fix the back cap so it doesn’t need the button. It’s got nice clean lines, easy to wipe down, not 100% sure if the engine changes are needed or not.

Trigger guard could be smoothed down. Bolt release button matches anno color or accent color. SLAP asa would be nice. I like the milling so hopefully it doesn’t get changed too much. Any more minimalist milling and it’ll be close to the CS2 Pro, which would be my preference. Thumbwheel adjustable lever on feedneck.
Flex can and flex face bolt included would be nice. Current ARC bolt does seem totally adequate so I could see why that wouldn’t change. Front grip moved forward would be nice but if it stayed the way it is I wouldn’t mind that either. AA battery usage would be a welcome change.
DSR 2 in 2020, I’d bet money on it.

Just picked up a DSR myself and basically what everyone has said would make it phenomenal out of the box. SLAP, lockdown 2, and flex parts. Personally I like the spring vs. the magnet for the trigger. Would be cool if they some how made and option for magnetic or spring. Don't care if it comes with a full barrel set if it keeps the gun in the mid-end price range.
In regards to the button on the bolt. I think it would be cool if they put the dye emblem on the back like the M3 but it turns out that it is the button...
That'd be pretty slick

Kinda.
But they have completely different Bolt System designs.
This makes them shoot completely different.
I’d like to see the DSR ARC Bolt in a high end Body. Smoother milling, more stretched out ergonomics...

@ id Profiler, I like that idea about the bolt button being a Dye emblem.
One aspect I like about the DSR more then the M3 is the design layout, more specifically the air routing.

The original design did that very thing, but it was too expensive.

Yeah that just kinda hit me one day playing with my m3. DSR design layout is for sire better and much more simplistic. I also like how the bolt system comes out smoother than the m3. I have banged the heck out of my fl21 back can because it doesn't enter flush.

You just gotta be careful when taking the Bolt out and inserting it with the M3 series...
They should be able to fix this “issue” if they stretch out all of their Markers.
Instead of having the cuts inside the body or having the Foregrip stick out in front of the Barrel they should add the extra volume to the shot chambers...

Yes. It was indexed and had an aluminum logo, so it could be color matched. It added a lot of cost.

Why is the Release Button plastic on the M3 series but Aluminum on the M2?

Sorry to disappoint. I'm a bit sad too.
