Been some time since i’ve Played, but I’m getting back in the game. Back in the day I wanted an Etek, but could never afford one. Times have changed through and was wondering if the Etek 5 (new or used) was worth it or is there better options in this price category.

I just got a used Etek 5 used myself. I'll tell ya this. The etek just weight wise is enough for me to say worth it. I was using my old smart parts Ion for a moment of time and the etek is leaps and bounds more lightweight.

All this aside, I was torn between a FEW different markers. But I ultimately went ETEK five for the reliability and the mechanic of the marker. I would say go for either that or a JT impulse for poppet valve if you really that style of marker.

I really enjoy my Etek5... The trigger is unique to its Gtek brethren and There's something very satisfying with the way it shoots.

I've had teammates with them who don't maintain them and over an extended period of time have run into problems with being unable to adjust the LPR (usually because it's caked with paint)...

But, if you're willing to put in basic maintenance it's a very reliable shooter.

I ended up getting a used Etha LT for next to nothing. Waiting for my tank and hopper to show up so I can put some paint through the Etha, but it appears to be in excellent shape. Still looking at other markers though.

Good For you! Hope you enjoy the etha!! Any upgrade done to it? You plan on any upgrading?

As of now the marker is completely stock and I don’t have any plans on upgrading it. I’ll probably invest my money in a better marker if I start playing a lot.
