DM8 board draining batteries

I have a used DM8 I purchased a few years ago that is draining batteries while the gun is turned off. Any one else have any power issues with the stock DM8 board?

Lots of older markers have that problem, but I’m not sure if it was something that specifically affects DM8s...

I’d recommend storing it without the Battery installed anyways.
