We go to the one in Long Island city. Yes if you go on weekends they are less accommodating if accommodating at all. They have lots of party's on weekends and it doesn't make sense for their pocket to give us field time unless we were to pre book it as a party, and then we probably wouldn't get the huge block of time they offer on weekdays. 2 of us confirmed for tonight...getting there at like 7

Hi fire! I haven't played since 2008 and I'm starting again but it looks like paintball is dying. The LIC one used to be called NYC Paintball but now its Indoor Extreme Sports. I can't find much info for paintball. I just see that it's "paintless" with rubber bullets?! Do they still have real paintball like they did a decade ago? I'm looking for a place for my friends and I to practice again where there is competition and not just 12 yr. old kids. I'm from Manhattan so I'm looking for a legit spot to go every weekend or every other weekend. Maybe get back into tournaments again.

Hey King, I played my first tournament like ten years ago at the lic indoor when it was paint haha!

The Lic spot is just reball now, which offers a great all you can shoot practice on the weekdays

best bet for some actual ball is to head out to jersey on the weekends, there a number of good spots out there with a big scene, long live, playground, golfzone, newbreed might have a field up soon as well.

There are tons of competitive teams out there and its very much still alive, new york extreme just went pro and is playing a little north of us, and there are a ton of divisional and even some semi pro teams in jersey area.

Feel free to join for some drills with us at the indoor during the week to work the rust off, and perhaps we can work out some car pooling for the outdoors on weekend!

This x2. A friend and I just got back into the sport since like 2010 we’ve been playing at Long Live on Sundays and will prob be hitting this spit mid week for more practice. If anyone’s looking to play/practice PM me

How accommodating are they mid week?

I went a few months back just to see if I could get field time mid week during after work hours. They mentioned it would be tough to just drill if there are any other walk on players.

If they are accommodating i'd be down to go pretty regularly.

Any feedback would be great.

Sorry for the super slow reply. I wanted to be ready before I did anything. I’m going to PM/Email you both. I finally got all new everything/gear. Picked up a new Luxe Ice and full setup. I went to Battlecreek and Long Live Paintball to work out some rust. I’m going to Long Live Paintball on June 9 and June 24. I also got a membership there so I’m committed. Maybe you guys can join me. My cousin who is also on this forum has been joining me each time. I also have a friend who used to play in college that is going to join me on the 24th.
I’m also down to carpool. I live in Manhattan love driving as I race as another hobby lol.

I definitely want to work on some drills as well in LIC. My cousin and I are hoping to start/join a team.

I’m also looking into joining a paintball camp.

Realize this is over a year old, but getting back into the sport as well after 10-year hiatus. Used to play competitively for 3-4 years back in '07-08 and am looking for a place to work my way back up.

Anyone still meet here during the week for some practice? Bit difficult with work hours but seems like this place is a relatively short train ride from Manhattan. Anyone interested in going this weekend despite it being less accommodating to just shoot around and start scheduling some consistent paintball?

Just starting to play paintball and have my own gear. What nights are popular for walk ons with their own gear? Far from good but just excited to play and this place is ~10 mins away from me.
