Thanks! The owner of PMI, David Freeman, gave me credit for saving that gun. When I joined PMI it was still relatively new (G1 version) and selling but the reputation was struggling due to some production and customer service issues. During my time there I took over Customer Service and some R&D and talked with the manufacturer daily. I learned a lot and we made and sold an amazing amount of those.

piranha eforce was one of my first guns. I took it apart could never figure out how to get it back together then got an evil minion. Good times. No much has changed. I still take guns apart and still can't put them back together.

Richmond used to own GI and now he is part of Roundhill Group which did indeed buy Remington. And the name change is pretty well documented on here and elsewhere.

That was APX paint factory. HK now makes their paint on machines in Mexico that they do not own, but they seem to have exclusive use of.

That's a little misleading because it was never enforced and it expired long before Kore was a thing.

That wasn't their machine. It was just the company that made their paint at the time. They have since parted ways.

He also had a big part in HK being HK

Valken does not (pakistan/india for some, at recoil in mexico for some, and somewhere else i cant remember tiawan or malaysia i think)

And yes recoil still makes recoil branded paint as far as i know to

The last two times I shot HK paint it was great. I had a box of the APX stuff and it was really good last summer and this spring with the Mexico made stuff and I’d shoot it again in a heartbeat. I haven’t had as good of luck with the GI stuff it’s been a lot more inconsistent. I shot some 5 star in January and it was good, then some marblizer in February that was garbage. That marblizer was probably the worst paint I’ve shot in the last couple years. Usually though I don’t have too bad of luck with the GI.
