Watch It Now! The Jeremy Salm/Avalanche Sniper Documentary (74 Minutes)

https://www.patreon.com/paintballmedia

On Friday October 25, 2002 Jeremy Salm of Avalanche walked into the woods adjacent to the National Paintball Supply field at the PSP World Cup, wearing all black, face paintedÖ and carrying a black marker. What transpired in the next hour changed the game of professional paintball forever. Watch the 74 minute feature documentary now.

Why did it happen? Who knew? For the first time in nearly 19 years, the full story is told.

The reviews are coming in...

Rocky Cagnoni, Avalanche
"Just finished watching.. THANK YOU 🙏.. I got some closure that has been with me for awhile... AWESOME JOB...! Got me all choked up."

Magued Idris, Captain Joy Division
"Great video John! Quality work!"

Chad Yaya Bouchez
"John Amodea did a great job with this Documentary and I am excited to continue to support and see what else is in store!"

Glenn Forster, GBD, Avalanche
"Good times. Great video, it was like going back in a time machine."

Steve Davidson, Werewolves
"I think that it is absolutely fantastic... Excellent. John, I have to say, your video directing is excellent; putting an off-white background behind Salm for his interview is genius. The only thing that's missing, I think, is ending it with the Warner Brothers ending credits music and Porky Pig saying "That's all folks!"

Griffan Spanner
"I'm 20 minutes into this thing, John I gotta tell ya. This is a masterpiece of anthropological discovery."

Ron Wells, Wild Geese
"Job well done!"

Lane Wright, Image, All Americans
"I love what you're doing... keep up the good work."

Ryan Gray, Texas Storm
"What a fun watch!! I should have joined months ago, so much great content. Thanks for doing what you do John!"

Jackie George, Bad Company
"Well done!"

Tom Boyer, Paintball historian
"Good stuff."

Greg Hastings
"Epic!"

Zach Hadean
"...made me cry at the start of just the preview for the video of Tim. RIP TM40. I just finished it and I must say I am blown away. very well done, I loved the interviews and followups with all of the people. I grew up watching all of these guys and ended up meeting most of them over the last decade. This has made my night, thank you for your care with this and keep up the good work."

Salvatore Astuto
"ust watched this, awesome job John!"

I feel like this was open ended. It would have nice to have a comprehensive "I knew" or "I didn't know" from the team. After all. It's been almost 20 years. I don't think anyone involved has anything to lose at this point. It would have been nice for the people that knew to have the balls to man up and say. I feel like Salm is still kind of left holding the bag 20 years later.

Highly recommend!! Excellent documentary with a real down to earth human story. Great that the air could be cleared regarding the whole incident. Looking forward to the Montressor documentary it looks epic much like his impact he had on the sport of paintball!

Jeremy runs down the entire team on who knew and who didn't at an hour into the video. Not everyone was in the video to say yes/no.

John did Ed Poorman decline to go on camera for this? Between not seeing him in the film and reading between the lines after listening to Lasoya recently something comes across as not smelling right with him over this whole incident.

I used to go talk to Salm when he ran Warped Sportz in Omaha and always seemed like a good guy.

He didnt fall off the map after this. He continued to run and support Avalanche for quite a few more years until the industry collapsed in the late 2000s and he had to massively scale back his enterprise.

That was "I think [insert name] knew" by Jeremy. What I'm saying is it would have been cool if the individuals had the sack to say it themselves.

Those that did know and didn't admit it, kind of left Jeremy holding the bag... Which is kind of dikish.

I had no idea... is that what you're looking for

Great doc, way more content than just the "sniper" story. Appreciate the level of history that is being documented by John and team at Paintball Media.

I meant Lanche, not Lockaddicted.

Do you still have the Matrix? I have heard you do, AND that you don't anymore.

  1. No Upping threads. If you have something to say, please do, but don't post in the thread just to take it to the top of the forum.
