PB Fit has always had success, 7 1st places out of 11 events on PBL. I get the "lower" division, but these guys play a ton and practice against the AC camp already.

Well we know you're fine Nick rawr.
In all seriousness Nikki did a good job coaching you guys and hope she gets a shot at being the head coach this season. I just want one of those red and black Ironmen hoodies I see you guys wearing but Todd wouldn't sell those to the general public like a jerk and I'm guessing there's less of a chance of those being available now that he'd gone.

That's interesting. Boom previously had a huge divisional set of teams that were all outfitted like the pro line. Not sure if NRG is continuing that plan or if the divisional teams stayed as a Boom program. I've been a little out of touch the last year or so.

Looks like they dumped all the BOOM players from last season and took the lower divisional kids up the ranks. Bold move. They also used PE in semi pro so I'm not shocked they made the move back in that direction once the BOOM tether was cut. Seems as if they bought the BOOM name to go pro, then dumped it once they had the spot and reverted back. Weird how paintball throws the word "pro" around so loosely lol

From the 2019 Cup Boom roster, only 3 players went to NRG. Weaver, Abuhl, and Dennis. Janson was rostered at Vegas but was staffed afterward. The remaining 5 players from Boom went to Outlaws, Aftermath (x2), Thunder, and one retired. For 2020 NRG picked up 4 other players, 2 from NC, 1 from Katana, and 1 from divisional (non-NRG program). Also, once they merged with Boom, they only brought up 4 players from their existing Semi Pro NRG team. So they were running with a full 12 person roster for 2020.
Since the end of 2020, yes, they released Weaver and Dennis from Boom, but they also released the 2 local NC players as well as the Katana player. They kept Abuhl from Boom, who is typically starting for them. Maybe I'm giving them too much credit but it doesn't seem like there was an anti-Boom conspiracy from the beginning.

There is one D4 line that wanted to keep the Boom name alive. I'm not sure if they will keep it going this year though. From what I understand they got all the same deals NRG had but through Jansen.
Once the guys left for NRG most of the upper divisional guys left too. Either to different teams or quit the sport. At this point there isn't much support for those guys anymore besides paint deals and maybe gear.

Schehr and Besterman. Besterman was picked up mid way through 2020. It's a shame because Besterman is an excellent utility player who could have been a massive asset to NRG, but I guess they didn't want to see that through.
Lackey is still on the team.

Damage also confirms pickup of Chris Horn from D2 team Killers (took 1st at Vegas '20) based out of Damage's home field CFP. They also confirm pickup of Mike McGowan formerly of PC Katana and DMG.

NYX would like to announce the addition of Jerry Caro formerly of Infamous and PC Katana. Jerry comes to NYX with years of experience in the pro ranks and will look to expand the snake side attack for New York Xtreme.
Also Robbie Altamore will be playing with his old team the Brooklyn Bears and reuniting with his brother whom he has played paintball with for the past 20 years. We wish Robbie and the Bears the best of luck for the 2021 season.
One other note Scotty Graham did not play with us in 2021.

Curious where you heard/saw that? I didn’t see Kemp post anything about retirement. Definitely don’t blame him though if true.

Kyle and Ryan’s webcast. They said dalton is moving and might miss the first event, but the organization said he’s playing 3 years minimum but who knows with that guy. And Scott, no sense making 2 announcements on retirement, I think he only played about 12 points an event with dynasty on average. Kind of hard to get playing time on any stacked team if you’ve been out for a couple of years. Regardless, he had a great career and I’m happy he went out on a World Cup won.

Just listened to the Todd M interview with Marty. Sounds like Todd and Dye had a bad falling out. Todd left dye and the ironmen. After he left Heat picked him up.
Wild stab in the dark says dye tried to take more control over raza. Maybe try to flex some muscle on them.
