Seems like the Ironmen's snake presence improved a good bit once Spicka left and Dynasty replaced him fairly easily.

I couldn't agree more that losing Rainey was a huge lose for Impact, i can't count how many times that guys saved a point for them. Just look what he has done for Xfactor.
Spicka, is so hit or miss. |

That was a rumor form a long time. The only info that came out was during that behind the scene doc on the Russians that was shot in Russia. Basically some super wealthy banker uses RL has a tax write off |

I don’t think they get paid, Malloy almost left for impact last year.

I don't know about that but I remember hearing back in the day the guy that originally started bankrolling the team owned a private bank.

It's pretty well known they do. Malloy almost leaving isn't about making money, it's about making more money. Or could be for other reasons, people switch employers/jobs all the time.

Most of them get paid to be on the team and then also all get employed at the owners business’ and live in the owners apartments/home.
They aren’t stacking cash but either Malloy of Federov talked about how payment and livelihood works on RL and they said the above. I forget which.

I feel like I've made jokes to myself about Impact acquiring the top golden barrel winners before, it's just so predictable, and is consistent with Arod and now Fuzzy. Where's the art in cultivating a winning team? I suppose we'll leave that up to Dynasty or maybe now the exciting homegrown skills of Revo. However, I will never throw much shade on people making money in paintball, for those players on Impact and the organization as a whole, that's rad, and I look forward to seeing that team compete. It is exciting to think of Fuzzy having the opportunity to work with Arod, Spicka, Mouse etc, should be an entertaining first event back, and I am grateful for that.

I hope they at least retain the WC roster. Thomas Kim announced his free agent status for 2021, deciding not to renew his contract with the Ironmen.
