Looks to me like it's just a slightly extended KLR, possibly attempting to gain more traction due to the KLR being so small.

Doesnt look any better for breathing or communicating than the original 
They are comfortable masks but breathability in the summer and communication were my only criticism

Agreed. Hoping these make improvements in those areas. If the material is different from the original KLRs (softer more pliable rubber) then it might help in those areas. Better ventilation in the front hopefully - cant really tell from the angles. |

A few months ago at a practice I asked a dude that I knew worked for HK about potential KLR update...I got a sideways glance and a shush. So I imagine something has been in the works.

Looks like they def improved the ventilation and made it slightly bigger. Soft ears look redone. I’m sure there will be more pics and info next weekend at cup

Kinda figured they had a new mask coming when Heat switched to KLRs this past offseason. Given how much people complain about breathability and communication with that mask, I doubted Heat would agree to switch unless something new was in the works. I wonder if this was supposed to release sooner and got delayed by COVID.

It almost looks like there is no separate ear piece now. As though it’s all one solid piece of rubber. That could definitely be a big plus in our opinion due to the ear pieces not being the most comfortable. We are excited to see these whenever they may be released!

Watched Ryan's IG video yesterday, he was shooting a TFX instead of his usual speed loader making me think that there might be an upgraded TFX coming out as well. I do know that the mask isnt the only new product coming out but I wasn't given anymore info cause I have a big mouth lmfao

I thought they were putting the TFX on the shelf? Dynasty seems pretty inconsistent with their loader choice, I see a mix of stuff between practices and events.

Hopefully it’s a new TFX 3!
I still love my TFX 2 and it has always worked well for me. I’ve seen Ryan Greenspan use both the TFX and the Speed, it just depends I guess.
I like the looks of the new KLR. A bigger version would be nice and that’s what this mask looks like. Looks similar to Vios to me.
