Planet Eclipse releases the Speedster Multi-Caliber loader

Seems like Eclipse is looking to further dominate the rental market with this new electronic loader. Being released under the name "Protoyz" If it is able to consistently shoot NXL10 as well I could see this being used by a bunch of the Eclipse pro teams as well.

Well this would be a great solution for fields running "upgraded" rentals. The field I used to manage ran .50 ETEK's, these would be perfect for those!

Interesting, but looks like it’s a little tall. I wonder what the price will be?

Under the protoyz banner this is rental upsell loader or entry level take over from the too.
emek and pal $xx
upsell
etha2 and speedster $xxx

i honestly cringe at the thought of what renters would do to this.

I wonder what the size would be compared to a revvy.

The price is posted on the site the photos are from. It is more then a revvy but less than an LTR/IR.

Would like to see a picture of it on a marker, but this is definitely intriguing. Might pick one up to mess around with on my M170R.

These are excellent low cost loaders. I have used this loader for a while and I’m still on the first set of batteries; I lost count of the cases that have gone through it. I have abused it more than any other loader and it just kept on working like you would expect from any quality loader. Let me know if I can help answer any questions.

Picture for the asked size comparison to some of today’s high-end loaders.

Shoot a **** load of paint and raise your price-per-player number

If there's an increase in paint consumption, I imagine most fields will gladly eat the small time investment of cleaning these.

I can assure you plenty of renters used the hopper without any issues ... Honestly, experienced players were far harsher on the loader than the renters were.

Past observations- A rental carried paintballs in his front pocket. Later that day we found loose change in the hopper and one nickel or dime made its way into the chamber. How many rocks have made their way into hoppers as well? XD

Looks like another smart move by PE. They don’t just want to take part in the rental equation of the sport, they want to take over it.

Kevin, has this thing ever jammed on you or ever failed in keeping up with your trigger finger?

Hey Noa,

No, it has never jammed, or failed to load even when I dumped broken paint into it from the pod. I have used it on just about everything in my arsenal, all the current high-ends, and lots of older models, in ramping and semi-auto, Tippmann 98s, every modern mech, and it has never skipped a beat. I will say I have not used it for fire-rates above 13 or so BPS (most at 10.5 and 10.2 bps) ... but I had no feed issues ... ever. I have also not broken any paint in the hopper ... it has just worked and worked well for me and those who used it.

It is AA powered too! Looks like a good Revy alternative if the price is right. It is about 9 ounces heavier than the Revy from what I gather though (even before batteries).
