This has already been explained.

The CS is its own "line."

The Geo is name and IV Core are back.

Dude, it's my opinion, if you dont like it, too flipping bad. Yes PE makes nice markers, but they really over do it with 3 newish markers a year and it's not always worth it.

"Worth" is inherently subjective.
If you prefer the IV core over a gamma/gamma pro core, this Geo4 offers that option in a modern form factor. Many players have been hoping for a marker exactly like this one.

Can't be too mad about that.

You asked questions, I answered.

You gave a questionable opinion. I countered.

You keep saying "worth it." That's the worst argument you can possibly make because while it may not be "worth it" to you, it is to the next 10 people wanting a new marker that fits the Geo 4's description.

If Jimmy John and Billy Bob want a new marker with an IV Core but really like the CS2 grip angle, what options do they have? This and only this. Is it worth it to them? Yeah, probably.

Will I buy one? Maybe, maybe not. But it's certainly not an unfair asking price for what it is.

Those "3 new markers a year" quite literally fly off shelves, so yes, they are "worth it."

Your post reads as "there are too many choices! I want fewer choices and lower prices! Waaaa."

Players have been yelling they want the LV back. Yelling that they want an IV Core in a CS2 jacket.

Now they give it, and people start complaining? You don't have to buy it.

It’s not in a CS2 jacket in the slightest. It has CS2 rear grips which you could already fit onto a CS1. It has none of the amazing changes which made the CS2. It’s a CS1.5 with the most basic of tweaks.

Can the frame be removed without disconnecting wire harnesses?

Is the solenoid mounted to the body, or in the frame?

Dont worry, I wouldn't waste my money just yet, give it 9months and PE will release an updated version and them prices will drop.

What is the Operating Pressure?

Does this have the larger shot chamber volume of the CS1 series markers or is it smaller like the original IV Core?

Haha imped4nows keyboard is getting hot from all the correction over here! Get em’ bro! It’s always great to read about how if something wasn’t made specifically for one individual it’s not worth it. PE strives to continuously make the best product for everyone. Period. That means updates and improvements based on what the players are sending as feedback. Solid updates, glad the LV is around, glad the CS line is around, and I’m glad the Geo line is around. Cheers Jack and friends!

It’s a CS1, no wires, solenoid on the body

Some people preferred the CS2 grip/grip angle, CS1 foregrip and IV Core. PE is literally providing those people an option. Oh no!

FYI, the body dimensions are based on the CS2. Compare a CS1 rear overhang to the Geo 4's.

I stated previously that "it's a CS1 in CS2 clothing."

Yes.

I think the CS 1.0 and CS1.5 are lower operating pressure. I wonder why they just didn’t make the Geo 4 the same. Just get a used CS 1.5

Because the Geo4 feels completely different to a CS1/1.5

People kept asking us for a hoseless Geo3.5

The Geo4 uses a mixture of CS1 and CS2 parts with the IV Core drivetrain and the same basic grip and foregrip angles and geometry of the Geo3.5 to give them exactly that.

my guess is the Geo 4 will still shoot better than the previous 3.5 since the 4 has better weight distribution.
