Etek 1 Bolt Recommendations

Since I feel like my search for a cure bolt for my etek1 is at a dead end, does anyone have any reviews on the Pooty flat faced bolt for the eteks? Also, Has anyone sent in there stock etek bolt for the Pooty mods? Wondering what the next best option is. I've never had any issues with the stock etek bolt, but looking to try something new. Thanks.

Not Really. I think I am going to have Pooty mod my stock bolt. It looks like it rounds the face (Easier on paint), seals the breech and tube, reduces weight, and reduces surface wear. Found some good reviews on it by people who swear by the mod.

Nice! Good luck with modding the bolt. I wish I could a been more help, but I just started up playing again in 2018 and never had an original ETEK. I've heard of pooty bolts and how they're supposed to be good for markers.

Found out that PE has a spares website in Germany. Found an ego11 bolt (cure 3 I think?) and ordered from there. Will just take longer to get here.

Nice! I tried to order directly off that site and couldn't get it to send to the United States. Glad you got it to work, maybe I'm a doofus and wasn't trying hard enough. Hope the cure three bolt works out for you!

There are 3 different spares sites. Looks like you have to choose a specific one for shipping to the US. Just FYI. I'll let you know if it actually comes lol.

Honestly, I didn't notice anything. I did seem to have to turn my reg up a little to hit 270fps again though. I was expecting the opposite since the cure bolt seals the breach with orings... I never really had ball chopping issues in the first place, I just always wanted a cure bolt. So not too much difference for me, but it should be gentler on paint regardless. Of course, the day my cure3+ arrived, someone posted a brand new cure4 on ebay...
