I understand sometimes some components might take longer to repair but theres no way in 2018 they take that long do they?
It depends where the part is. I have heard similar horror stories yet have had my car repaired within a week when I have brought it in (have only ever brought it in for the battery drain issue and service)

I recently have been driving mine a lot less often. I picked up a super clean 05 mr2 with 34k miles on it last month and have been driving that around. The mas is fun but the mr2 is a gocart.
Already have bought most of the parts I will need to swap it with a supercharged 2zz like the Lotus Elise had and will be sending it to the shop once it starts raining(going to keep the original motor as well in case I ever want to return it to OEM).

yeah man I'm getting more and more irritated with it every time I drive it. It use to be an enjoyable experience to drive. Now I wonder if the car will break down on the side of the road and embarrass me in-front of my kids. Thankfully it is not my only vehicle.

I've been driving mine daily for the past few weeks. I know a few other fellow Ferrari owners who daily a Gransport or a QP instead of their F car. The Gransport is a great handling coupe.

I’m selling mine.

I recently sold out and am transferring my car buying towards Mclaren and BMW.

I do not lease/own these cars out of warranty so all of the oil changes, brakes, etc etc is included in my lease service schedule.

The oil changes and brakes are not much different (cost) than BMW or Audi. Given how much of these cars uses cheap crappy FIAT/Chrysler parts something like a broken power seat adjustment switch is cheap and easy to repair.
The majority of the cost with Maserati is engine related as Maserati uses Ferrari engines so you are paying Ferrari mechanic labor rates. Most Maserati dealerships near me are Maserati/Alfa/Fiat/Ferrari.
