Saw these on Ebay and I was just wondering if they're any good. It's not stainless steel like the TechT, but it's not plastic like the original parts either.

I bought them and took them back out. Could have been me because I'm new to the paintball thing and yes the first thing I did with the 2 guns I bought was strip them down and start upgrading after shooting them for an hour and researching them for a month. Starting chopping Balls in the cyclone feed all the way out the barrel. Could be the paint IDK or me not knowing how to tune the gun but I will try again

Nope, don't buy em. If you get lucky and find one that works properly, they will start showing significant wear after a case of paint or so. I've used a few of them before, they all are crap.

For legal field rof limits, stock is best. The TechT SS varients may be good, but the gains are minimal with a hit to reliability.

Thanks for the reply. Do you think the the 98 custom will function properly with a low pressure kit, response trigger and a cyclone feeder, or will I have to increase the input pressure? Right now, the response trigger functions perfectly with 350 psi input pressure.

The more you add, the more you have to tinker.

I can't guarantee that it will work at the same pressure, but there is a good chance you may have to purchase the wider hose kit.

Low Pressure and Response Trigger tend to work against each other. The lower the pressure the gun is running at the less pressure you have to push the RT piston, so the trigger gets less responsive.

In find if you want a moderate rate of fire, and have a gun which is gentler on paint and recoil and going for efficiency and smoothness of shot, experiment with LP.

If you want to go for scary paint hose rates of fire, stay high pressure and go all in in the RT.
