Make sure you cock the pump grip back then pull it fully forward. Your probably not pulling it forward, and its not letting the hammer hit the valve without having to move the bolt.
So just pull back, push forward and shoot! It'll work

thats not a trilogy...
but any cocker works the same, basically. Most of the cockers, stock, have the same reg. So its basically the same.
Just get the right kit..not a mini or pre 2k kit

There, if you can tell, it's threaded, if you can't see it, I can get better pics.
But mine was an SF trilly, so yeah...

That is an extremely modded Trilogy. it looks like its been mini-ed or half blocked (not 100% sure what the differences are hehe) So it looks like it was tapped for a feedneck. ive been searching on google for Trilogys and they all have integrated feednecks... hmmm

Nope, I've only halfblocked it. Plan on Midgeting it though, I can find the money for a tap, however. I didn't thread it at all, just tried my hardest to pull out the feedneck ('cause I thought it was press-fitted) it's started spinning, so I spun it and lo and behold, it's threaded.
EDIT: More pics to prove it
Both parts of the feedneck, and the hole

Good job!
It may be worth to note that the Trilogy Sport is sprung to handle high pressure, like direct CO2 and HPA, while the Comp and Pro are sprung to operate at lower pressure with an inline reg.

Also if the trilogy FAQ in the WGP section (I think it is still there.....maybe) is reputable then the SF are indeed cocker threaded, don't quote me on this but when I was following it last year that is what I found.
Someone else who cares might actually look it up, but.........meh........

Just to elaborate on something people have mentioned. I personally run a Trilogy sport simply because it doesn't require an inline reg and is sprung for high pressure input. There is simply less to go wrong. I have never had any issues with consistency or anything else. Adjusting the velocity is also simplified because you arn't adjusting it at the reg, rather the valve.
Some have mentioned that the pump stroke on the sports is harder than the Pro or Comp, this is actually not due to the stronger valve spring but rather the cheap metal bolt that comes with the trilogy Sport. I have replaced my metal bolt with a high quality delrin one, and this makes all the difference in the world.

You can use an electric grip frame with a pump kit. You may want to remove the 3 way rod from the grip frame, but it won't hurt anything.

got a trilly comp for 90 shipped and a pmp kit for 46 shipped. Just a few questions. I'm pretty inexperienced with pumps in general, bought this stuff to use as my primary so that I save some paint and still win. Would it be better if I had a stronger return spring that comes with the pmp kit? And I'm not in a position to get a freak set right now, so how well does the nail polish drops in the barrel work for keeping paint from rolling out? Does it corrode the barrel or something? Any tips or advice for doing this? And one more thing, is it possible to run the trilly comp so that the co2/hpa is reversed, with the butt facing in the same direction as the barrel? I like the compactness of this.
Thanks in advance for anybody who answers a question, and thanks op for the all the info.
edit: has anybody tried drilling out a hole in the pump guide to get a little more room for co2 to expand? i'd like to try that

The return spring is all preference. I YOU like it harder, put a harder one. You might end up holding the pump arm forward when shooting, in which case you might want no return spring. Its all 100% preference when it comes to return springs.
Ive never tried the nail polish in the barrel, So I cant say for sure to be honest Someone will come in and help ya out, or you can always check the barrel forum out and see what people think in general. It wont hurt the barrel, its completely safe.
You can make the tank face forward, simply reverse the ASA facing forward. YOu'll have to tinker with the gas line, but find a way to make it point forward. Either with a longer hose/ same hose / macro line, be creative. Just make sure its on there tight!!
Honestly, i doubt you'll see any improvements with the drilling into the pump guide. I WOULDNT do it, you'd really mess with the integrity of the arm itself. Just leave it as it is. If your worried about the CO2, get an anti siphon/siphon (forgot with one exactly lol) installed on the tank.
