Dec 2015 getting back into paint ball...I want to get into magfed...i got a spyder mr6 any tips are appreciated ..

jtracc iirc you got a good amount of helpful feedback in your versus thread here. Like a lot of other users when I know the answer to a question or have an opinion I chip in. When I don't know, I won't.

This is the largest paintball forum out there. It's not perfect but it's generally the best place to find info and can be a great community. Inactivity can be an issue, especially in less popular sections, but if you ask your questions in the right place you will generally find helpful people. If you aren't getting a good response, try again somewhere else, like that sections OT or the general mag fed forum or new player section for instance. Or try PMing a user who has been active responding in that section in the recent past.

To OP - Welcome. I don't play magfed or milsim but always happy to see new players of all types. Whatever gets you stoked and out on the field. My general advice to anyone new is find quality soft goods (elbow and knee pads, pants, etc) that are comfortable and protect you, find hard goods (gun, hopper etc) that are reliable, and rock out. When playing, being the aggressor whether in play style or mentality, pays off in this sport. If you are more concerned with getting shot than shooting your opponent, you've already lost.

Has any one here used mr6 ? It shoots balls great....when I switch to mag it chops my fs round.......if I start with mag it fires them well when it doesn't jam.....idk if I'm doing sumn wrong or what...but I haven't had a lot of time to trouble shoot...

Spyder's are fairly low end, and the switching isn't very great. So not to much surprised to have issues when going from mag to loader.

I was afraid of that.... ive seen some vids where it seemed to work great with the user and they seem happy with it so im hoping it's a kink I could work out...Thanks

Welcome back don't know much about magfed with mr6 might find some useful tips on youtube or in the forums on here might I suggest getting a tippman x7 with a magfed kit I've seen a lot of good deals on eBay

Whats up PBNation... new blood in the ranks. I have played a couple of times in the past few months and have been steadily building up gear and learning the lingo. Have a ton more to understand, grasp, and figure out but I primarily play with a few friends at black river paintball and blackops paintball in Fayetteville, NC.

Hope to be able to read up on all of the content here so I dont ask repeated questions but we shall see...

I play with my wife and 2 friends currently atleast once each month, but as I invest more in the sport, I better play more often! If there are other small groups here in Fayetteville, NC, that would like a few extra nubs to meet up and have good size walk on groups, I'm def interested.

Newbie from Houston. Played for the first time a couple of weeks ago and shot the rental gin and wore the rental mask. Still managed to have a good time. This past Sunday I went with a buddy and his team and had a blast! Borrowed a great fitting fog free mask and got to shoot a variety of markers to see which ones I felt comfortable with. Really like the Tippmann Phenom X7 so I should be getting one in the near future. Thanks for the read.

Started to play 4 month ago and love it. Went thru couple markers already and now got Axe Pro , i4 mask, Rotor and ... To tale truth - should start long time ago. Love every bit of PB

Well hello there nation, I'm also a Steven from PA. I've played way back in the late 90's on occasion and last may I started to get back into it all over again. I'm going to be 45 myself this month, so I don't think age matters. I play once a month or so. Recball and woodsball is what I've been doing and wanna start scenarios this summer, ION is a definite.

I've been active on the forums lately, but never really introduced myself. About 10 years ago I was active in paintball with my highschool friends (mostly woodsball).

Got back into paintball after a friend invited me to play.

Currently i'm rockin' the standard 98 custom with JJ 14" barrel. Eflex Mask with Proto hopper - no tank yet.

Shopping around for a sweet axe, so hopefully soon i'll have some nice gear.

NJ - Local field is Crusader in PA.

Hey I'm Cory. Been playing since 04' with a slight hiatus in the middle. getting back into it. Still have my round body Victor that i first got. I have a PM5 and just picked up an DM9 Ironman. Running a reloader B. Used to Ref at Tombstone out in Corona CA, now i play at Jungle. Any body interested in getting a group together for a day just let me know.
