We're at a turning point to be honest. The site has so much custom programming it makes upgrading it difficult without breaking something else.

So we are trying to figure out what we have to sacrifice to modernize the site and make it easier to upgrade in the future.

If we had to ditch badges, year tags, signatures, and attachments, but it will save the user names, titles, and content. I’m all for it, if it fixes the sites problems.

The search has been working for me (fingers crossed) this last week.

It's not a test site. But it is another site we own but obviously don't do much with.

Fixes...

-get the search working everytime, not a crap shoot.
-pro teams section needs to be edited for 2020 teams, there should be a former teams sub section.
-The manufactures section needs some serious work, there’s lots in there that need to be moved to the classics section. I know you want to hold onto the past but it’s time to move on( aka, angel, blast) Field one needs to be added, so does HK army
-focus on Paintball again, scrap the off topic and the pursuit. We don’t need gimmicks.
-make a pbn Teespring store for stickers, tee, longs and hoodies with just the main logo.
-with the lack of traffic, maybe consider lowering asm to $14.95 or if not mail out a could free pbn stickers with asm renewal, porsche club of America and rennlist both do this.

Again, does anyone look at this stuff anymore? Maybe a changing of the guard is need to the people that actually use this site. There are so so so many mods and admins that are no longer active on here.

I am still here as an Admin and we have mods as well. But since I no longer work for the parent company, I am obviously spending less time on the site than I have in over a decade.

There are probably Admins that work for VS who check the site when problems are reported but they aren't paintball players and I don't know any of them.

Not having players admin the site is definitely not the desired direction to go. Oh well, such is business.
