Wouldn't the 160r be the DSR competitor?

I can totally see a gamma core in a high end body with all the bells and whistles of the CS1 (no AT pipe, better oled, AA batteries in the fore grip, FL barrel), at a price to compete with the DSR (995$)

I'd imagine the Gamma core is more expensive to manufacture than the IV core simply based on part count, so it wouldn't be possible to sell a Gamma core'd CS1 for less than the CS1 itself.

If it looks like a duck, shoots like a duck, but got to market one and a half years before a DSR... it's old.

If I had to bet money on it, I'd say its a CS2. Seems to be due. I think someone else here said they would like to see CS1 features in a GEO3.5 form factor (smaller). This may be that.

The trigger frame looks a little mid range but who knows, this could just be a proto type? Looks smaller with smaller and thinner grips they could be making a cs2 with all the things that people complained about different. Either way my wallet is going to feel it as I have no self control

The trigger guard doesn't look big enough to route air through, leading me to believe this is NOT based on the IV Core.
I'm guessing replacement for the CS1. High end features, Gamma Core, possibly with increased volume or some small geometry changes to refine the shot a little bit.

Damn , SFR is in the left side.
IMO I think they 3D printed that grip to help throw us off. (Just the power supply)
SFR will let us know if highend or not in my books
I also believe it is the gamma bolt with better air efficiency work done to the can

Looking at the pictures more closely and referring to the PE guns of the past the SFR at least on the geo platform has been located just above the trigger guard in a way where it kind of flows into the rest of the grip frame. The pictures above just look like the top of the trigger guard go right into the body and there is no SFR. But I'm not sure if I explained that the way I wanted to. I'm not really sure what this marker is going to be. Guess PBE will have to be the place to find out!

the GTEK 160 r and Lv1.5 technically are in the same price range as the dsr dont think they need more competition

It could see it going either way between a CS2 and a Gtek 160R replacement. If it's a CS2, I don't think it'll be a Gamma Core (although possibly derived from the Gamma Core, with more tuning options), because I think PE will want to keep the high-end engine different from the low/mid range options for market segmentation.

Maybe it's just a DSR with a pops asa and feedneck? It's early for April fools but would be a pretty funny PE/DYE April fools prank.

Definitely going to have to follow this. It'd be sweet if it is a CS2. I loved my CS1 minus that the grip was so fat compared to the 3.5
