Change is never easy but in this case it’s necessary for me. I wish nothing but continued success and love to the guys and the organization.

I hit him up and he had this to say:

"Yeah man not an easy decision to make at all. I’ll be playing for sure with Ronholt Blast in Europe but I don’t have a team lined up here as of yet"

Strange to leave a team without having anything lined up.

I’m sure it’s impact or ironmen. The economy’s better then it was 10 years ago. A lot of teams are paying now.

“I wish nothing but continuous success for them “.

Not gonna happen when this “continuously” happens to them LOL!

I was just thinking Ironmen. As much as they have lost this year they really need an influx of veterans. They have a great young core in Golding, Kim, and Hall.

Alan will be 33 next week, so not that young anymore.

IIRC, each ENXL team is allowed one US pro.

I think we will continue to see this because Dynasty appears to not really offer guys any sort of incentive to come play and stay other than "We won a lot in the past" It seems like slowly their sheen is wearing off and people are sitting around wondering why they are playing for pennies or nothing while worse players are elsewhere making money.

I'm sure Field One isn't rolling in cash yet but you'd think the brand of Dynasty would find it a good investment to keep good young players like Arod while the core is the oldest in paintball by a good margin.

Alex is also a musician and that career is incredibly demanding. I don't know anything about the details of why he is leaving but I wouldn't be surprised if it was to be able to spend time focusing on his music career. I just bought his prototype Force too

Arod is a good dude. I bet hes going where the money is, and thats not dynasty. Ironmen is my guess, must've spent since their two stars left. Or, he just found out dynasty wont give him much so hes testing free agency on the hopes theres someone with a check waiting. Big gamble with only so many people writing checks.

Thats the problem, paintball is one of the most volatile industries to invest in, let alone professional paintball. Not even an investment really, more or less a tax write off for people with too much money, thats about it.

Not enough pie and too many hands reaching for it

Ironmen
Impact
Aftermath
Heat

Are there any other real possibilities?

Impact dropped 3 guys and picked up 3 so their roster is at 10 now. I don't see them adding anyone else. I don't know why on earth he'd want to go to aftermath unless he got offered an unholy amount of money. Ironmen is a good bet.
Last time he left Dynasty was because of his music career and time commitments and that's when he dropped down to play with aftermath in semi-pro. Maybe he goes back down to a top semi-pro team to better balance his time.

I'd scratch aftermath off that list. Is heat gonna add to a proven winning roster? Doubt it they don't need help

Not a big gamble at all. Arod is arguably one of the top 10 players in the world right now. I’m sure Bart is licking his lips right now, looking at that big “transfer” button on his bank account. Same with Dye. Since impact didn’t get Malloy, look for Arod to go there or the ironmen. I feel for the guys on dynasty who aren’t 40. Marcelo, blake, tyler etc. every time they get good young talent, they run off once they realize their value. Spicka not signing back with dynasty was a real eye opener on what little they have to give, because those guys are some of his best friends. In fact, I think he lives with greenspan. The guys who play for dynasty do it for the pride, and not the cash. I wonder when dynasty will have that mass exodus, maybe this off season? They can’t hang onto players for ****! Even AC Dallas and damage have done a better job of that.
