so my daughters (10yrs old and 17yrs old) are wanting to play tournament ball. I have played since in early 1990's, but they have just started this last month ... our 2018 plan (if there are no scheduling issues):
1 - Plumlife Series (top priority for 2018)
2 - Chicago NXL (good national event in the summer that is close)
3- A Couple of the MSXL events (close locations that can offer a mix)
4 - World Cup (duh)
We hope to have a our own practice field before January to get some practice. As of now I am the 3rd man in a 3 man team. We would like to field a 5 man roster. Is there anyone in North Arkansas / Southern Missouri that has the desire to run with a new team and new players in 2018. We are limited with our budget but I plan to be able to afford goal #1 and #2, #3 will be as availability comes. The Cup, well it is the Cup - we will see.
My coaching goal:
Teach and practice breakout and point shooting - starting NOW and to practice 3x a week.
Already started a workout plan (running, squats, lunges, & abs)
We are looking for new or experienced players that want to start from the true ground and go up. Our measurement will be advancement in the Plumlife series (seems to be a steady sample of teams that we can gauge ourselves against).
Midfield Dorito God here. Haha. I’ll certainly be private messaging you after work! I live in the Harrison, AR area these days, and I’m am very, very interested in a tournament team. I played tourney in high school and college. Mainly rec ball since then due to no personal friends into tourney play. I’m 29, and while I started playing at 10, I took a 3 year break, last summer was my first year back, and it was just rec ball. Will you have any sponsorship reg’s to follow, or will individual gear selection be allowed? While I have a few “nicer” markers, I prefer shooting my 2k6 infamous or my 04 Viking, while rocking my vforce mask.haha
