In the video it said you need a special tool to adjust the pressure. Is that tool included with the regulator?

No it is NOT.

"IF" you need to adjust the regulator, the tool is availible on powerhouses site
https://powerhouseregs.com/product/r...-multi-tool-2/

But the regs output will be right around 500psi out of the box, not sure what youd need to adjust it for these days. Also in a pinch you could use 90Degree internal snap ring pliers.

also when ordering yours you could specify what output your after and have it set from the factory.

I only actually have one gun that doesn't work with the 500psi output (mag) and if you reach out about it, they can help fix that for you.

What about Bob Long and Macdev gun?

So they are selling and adjustable reg that can't be adjusted without buying an additional tool?

For most current bob/HK/f1 guns doesn’t the manual say 450-550? I think the g6r may have wanted something a little lower (400ish) because of some weird body seal issue but I ran mine on 600 without any issues at all. And I have no idea about macdev as I only see about 2 markers a year from them. I really can’t see 500 being problematic to them. But I could be totally wrong.

What about them? 500 psi is perfectly fine.

Yeah.

500 is considered “mid-low” pressure and should be low enough for any Bob Long or MacDev.

For that G6r body seal I’ve heard to use Dow 55...

Given that most people don't even have a gauge to test the output of their tank regs, I'd say it's a good idea to not include the adjuster.

Can this get up to 850 ?

I remember those early Gorilla Air regs could not....

Do you even Automag ?

The video posted says it's adjustable down to ~400 up to 800-850psi. If anyone does automag... it's Carl. He's friends with Tom Kaye.

I've never once used D55 on any seal of my BL markers. There's no point unless you have a true tolerance issue that can't be solved any other way. And at that point, I'm not convinced that D55 is a feasible solution. My BL markers perform exceptionally well, FYI.

This. It's crazy how verifying pressures is a completely foreign concept to so many.

On that note, it's also crazy that people seem to believe they'll see some sort of concrete difference in their marker between a 400 psi and 500 psi tank reg output.

It is crazy, but at the same time everyone freaked out that BL guns could use a pressure tester. I remember reading that in almost every thread about BL guns as being a negative. And the funny thing is now days people say the pressure transducers in the macdev guns are selling point! It's like do you people actually understand what you are saying.

*EXACTLY*

I've said this time and time again. The shear ability to be able to quickly and accurately determine regulator setpoint and function is not a negative. But this is paintball, which seems to be a magnet for ignorance.

I remembered before I left paintball last time, that was when they were coming out with the stupid SLP regs (which were not even adjustable) from Ninja and almost putting it out there like this reg was a necessity to use BL markers. They were acting like you would blow your gun up if you didn't use this reg, and claimed it would make your marker more efficient which I guess you MIGHT get theoretically what like 4 extra shots? Even now when I go out and play, some times I get someone asking about the tank reg im using because they think you NEED a SLP lol.

I used my G6R a while before I finally adjusted the pressure down in my Ninja tank and I just got a LP spring for my Crossfire. So I have run it at a full 800 PSI with no issues. Wouldn't recommend it since BLAST doesn't recommend it, but just letting you know it works.

OLD FEEDBACK!

Why do people do this wanna-be hk thing? I mean hk people dont even play paintball, they just whine and start drama while wearing the ugliest stuff. Seriously you find light blue and pink to be attractive colors for your parents 1500 dollar investment (your gun/marker)? If you want to whine keep it off the field and save it for the internet; O wait! THATS EXACTLY WHAT YOU DO! Haha, if you don't play then don't whine.

Sell me your G6R (and Halo) upgrades/parts, because you wont get anything for them if you sell/trade them with the gun.

Yep. Ninja decided to solve a problem that didn't exist and it's turned into a huge misunderstood topic.

I will have a video posted later today showing you how to adjust the pressures on the new Gen III reg.
I will have it posted on the Pro Edge Paintball Youtube channel.
https://www.youtube.com/user/ProEdgePBTV

Update 8/9/19: Video will be next week. Pending some reg parts for the video.
