teching a gog g1

Hi, I am teching a gog g1 for a client of mine. He has a bad solenoid, I know this.
I am trying to find a replacement and it is tremendously difficult. I will really appreciate if someone here on the nation can tell me a few things.

Where I can buy one...

is the g1 and the enxy solenoid really the same and both will be compatible...?

The solenoid is the same. It's the hose length that's different. If it's just leaking from the solenoid because it's cracked (Look inside the cap, parallel to where the screws go into), then you just need to replace the cap.

The one with the brass nut is the newest. The walls are thicker, and holds up way better.

That's usually the common problem I'm guessing you might be having. There's other issues that can be related to the solenoid. Can you clarify exactly what it's doing, if that's not the issue above?

Thanks,,,

Look it leaks air into the bolt. and shoots while its leaking... a consistent flushing of air is all i hear. I have put a lot of time into fixing it, and I live over seas,,, hence I can't afford to waste more time, I ALSO DON'T WANT TO BUY A NOID IF ITS JUST THE CAP... though, you have been helpful. Ill cut the hose fore the envy* noid and replace the full noid and hoses...Do you think its the noid?

I can't confirm that, unless I have some way to witness it. It could be a loose banjo fitting.
Take the frame apart and try to locate the leak, while aired up.

The cap is easy to check. Remove the solenoid from the board. Then the cap will pull right off. Check the areas next to where the screws tighten into the cap. If the cap is cracked you will see them cracks. There is a slight ridge that runs around the inside of the cap which will be "broken" if there is a crack. I have replaced several caps that have cracked.
