Oh gosh, Playing paintball with glasses is a pain in the rump. First, some goggles my glasses don't even fit into. I got a new pair recently, and have to jam them in before my head, fit the mask on, then try and adjust the glasses into the right place while keeping my mask in the spot its supposed to be.

Then taking off my mask, my glasses go with it. And if they don't stay snug in the mask they get thrown to the floor, luckily they have not been stepped on. Yet.

The fogging issues are terrible too. 10 seconds after putting on my mask the fog starts. And it slowly encroaches on my vision until its almost better playing without my glasses. Maybe, if I am lucky, there is a tiny corner I can sneak a peek out of to see if the blur I am shooting at is friendly or not, and that is if I can even turn my head at the un-godly angle required to get that corner of clarity where I am looking.

I think that explains why a pair of these would be life changing for me!

Playing with glasses is a pain 99% of the time.

Well the number one problem I've always had with any kind of goggles/masks is fogging. And I've always had this problem with protective eyewhere, even when I was in the army with a gas mask. Glasses compound the issue by making two layers of fog to try to see through. I always try to make a funny face to exhale downward as much as possible, but that kinda gets forgotten when you're sprinting around a whole bunch or you're in a fire fight. Not to mention they're painful lol. They squeeze just about anything they can, like your head, your ears, your nose.
Glasses wearers really are in a pickle if you ask me. They can wear them and try to deal with the double layers of fog and the annoying pinching, or try to go without them and put yourself at visual disadvantage.

But much respect to all my fellow glasses wearing players out there. We put up with a bunch for the love of the game haha

I wore contacts for years but recently stopped because my job requires staring at screens for most of the day causing the contacts to dry out. Now that I'm a full time glasses wearer I've been trying to wear them with my mask and it turns out they fog! They fog badly. A solution like youzee that doesn't involve switching back to contacts is awesome and a pair for free would be even better.

I have tried things like this and the issue is always fogging. Maybe these with a Fanz kit and you'd be good, but just these by themselves do 100% still fog.

I have been struggling with my vision while playing paintball for well over 15 years. I can't wear contact lenses and I need my glasses to be able to see. I've tried everything. Anti-fog solution on my lenses, JT Vortex Fan, Virtue Stealth Visor fan, custom fan solutions, custom modifying my goggles for better air flow, prescription sunglasses, etc, etc. This solution would be a God-send for me to be able to consistently see while playing paintball in all conditions. I would really appreciate a set of these and if they work as advertises, I would likely buy more for all of my different paintball goggles.

I'd love a pair as it would help me not fight stupid fogging issues while playing.

Having said that, there seems to be a lot of other ballers on this thread that need them more than I, so pick them.

Stay safe everyone and thanks to John/PBN and Yousee for setting this up!!

This is awesome! I've been playing since 2003...and wearing glasses much longer than that. The biggest problem I have is fogging (like everyone else) but I've also had glasses break from from taking mask hits at close range. I got bunkered and took a shot to the temple that broke one of the plastic arms on my glasses. Hurt like crazy too.

And the frames get dig into my face cause the mask is pushing on them. I try to wear contacts sometimes but they dry my eyes out badly. None of this will ever stop me from playing though haha!

Cool Cool idea

This is awesome! I'd finally be able to have a fully enjoyable match of paintball without constant discomfort of my glasses either falling or getting fogged up. Unfortunately, I can't wear contact lenses because of my eyes condition. I've been waiting for something like this to appear on the market.

My eyes start blinking like crazy when I try to put in contacts. I have to concentrate just for them to do the glaucoma test. Depending on the mask my glasses may come off with it

These would be amazing! I've tried every type of fan system for goggles and nothing really works that well. Fitment is always a bit of an issue, never very comfortable. Regardless of whether or not I win a pair, I'll be buying a set in the future.

I'd definitely be game to rock a pair. My current frames don't fit super well in my mask and it results in some "hot spots" where they press on my hard kinda hard.

Edit: I also tried contacts specifically for paintball but I had so much trouble with dry eye I couldn't ever find a brand/type that would work for me. Tried for about 3-4 weeks before going back to glasses.

As a licensed optometrist, you realize contacts aren’t for everyone and many frames just don’t work with masks. Even if I don’t need these, I know a number of guys that do, and will be keeping an eye on these

Edit: I’m also curious as to the application in some diving masks, that allow for the bridge clearance

I would love a pair of these for my wife. She really enjoys going and playing rec ball with me, but gets headaches from not wearing her glasses while playing. I've being trying to find a mask that works with her glasses and bridge of her nose, but i have not found that secret combination yet.

Contacts are also not an option for her.

Thank you for doing this! It really is a little light during this strange time.

This a dope product, I didn’t even know they made these. I had to look it up and boy do I like what I Zee! If I win I would definitely support this company because I know the irritation of having glasses while playing. Thanks YouZee!

I would absolutely dig a pair of these because even contacts can be a pain in the middle of a match with sweat and such.
But that’s not the reason. My best friend could really use these. He refs to be able to play paintball but has not been able to afford a way to get contacts. He’s more deserving than anyone I know. He constantly promotes and grows the sport in my area here in Louisiana. And here is where it is already insanely humid and glasses fog up extremely quickly in ANY paintball mask. These would be game changing for him. The guy has been involved in paintball for 16 years and deserves it more than me. Message me for more reasons please.
Thank you for making this option for people that can’t wear contacts to play this sport.
