I know what youíre talking about Mr. Stealthy!

Superlube has(d?) PTFE particles in it that would season your Bolt over time.

I donít think this has anything like that in it though?
There is no PTFE in this. I have pretty much tracked down what the commercial equivalent is, but I will keep it to myself so as to not hurt the business (paintball is already a small community as is). While I do think this stuff is grossly overpriced for the amount you get, it should work really well in a lot of applications. The only thing I would caution people with (as with any lube) is the compatibility with certain components. It is almost certainly always better to go with the manufacturer recommended lube for this reason alone. I would be pretty comfortable running his lube in an all mechanical gun (i.e. cockers).

Thanks, but I'll stick with the eclipse grease included with my $1700 gun. I also wonder what this will do to existing warranties.

Eclipse grease is great and I use it on every gun I’ve owned. I had a gun sitting for 3 years and all I did was air it up and shot 280 on the first shot. Pretty good results if you ask me.

What would that accomplish? If the oring is providing a seal what would putting your grease UNDERNEATH it do? Make an ever better seal? And if it's a static oring why put any grease under it at all? Couldn't that knock it out of tolerance if the customer didn't clean out this build up of grease that they are applying under their orings for some magic reason?
its both that's why its a treatment
but not dow 33 remixed

Lol I think we can all agree this is something we are not interested in. I too like to see new and innovative product get released but when it comes to this.. I will stick with the factory grease. "KISS" rings a bell here

There's probably nothing wrong with this grease; what's wrong is the slimy snake-oil salesman trying to advertise that it'll make your marker more reliable than the factory grease your marker comes with and the manufacturer tells you that you need to use to keep from voiding your warranty.

This clown will sell you a $16 (are you serious?) bottle of lube but won't respond to your emails when you find out it voids your warranty.

Stop trying to grift kids, dude.

Whatever lube Detroit Action used from whatever irrelevant "Pro" league they played has no use for your marker now.

so what are you waiting for
message me your address and ill send a sample so you can test it yourself

After looking at the MSDS, I have some concerns with the compatibility with some of the plastics used on modern markers and some of the bonding agents on electronics cannot deal with a petrol-based lube either. Also, this cannot penetrate the metal (on bolt components & bodies), the oxidation layer prevents it. I'd recommend people stick with a silicone-based grease.

At least that’s what I THINK he is trying to say and say and say and say and say....

I think they are waiting to see if the stuff has compatibility issues with certain plastics, solenoid sealants/glue, etc. long term. I have very little doubts about this lube running on something like a mech cocker just fine.

The thing about lube/chemicals in general is there are a lot of compatibility issues that need to be taken into consideration. Without directly comparing said chemicals to said materials it is difficult to know hey they will interact. This is why the manufacturer is always going to recommend their lube. They have selected both the components and the lube for that product and have (hopefully) thoroughly compared the compatibility and tested the performance over time and in a variety of realistic conditions.
