Interesting. Mine hasn't come open accidentally once. I wonder if there's something defective about yours?

You have to pull the speedfeed up or "Back" if it's on the loader. There's some adjustment and movement with the NTR speedfeeds.

Thatís weird to hear. I had the exact opposite opinion of mine and so did a teammate of mine when her got his. I thought both the rain lid and speed feed lid was hard to open up.

I've opened and closed mine 100 times since World Cup with no issues. It's never come open accidentally once. I never load through the speedfeed off the field so every time I come off the field I open it to load.

Not sure, but it's disappointing and annoying.

Chinese virus? Not sure where they are made. But I am probably not far off. Maybe if they made them in the USA or Canada or Mexico. They might be worth the price point.

Like Vforce, I remember when we shipped them off to Korea. And they sent us crap back. Then we wanted the molds back and it took them 6 months to ship them back. Hopefully vforce is still being made in Canada. I will never forget the shortage of Grillz in black

Shot it for about 5 practices already and my only complaint is the on off button being soft/squishy makes it hard to turn on and off. I wish it was a hard button. Other than that I only turned down the sensitivity. All else is fine with me.

Open up hopper. Cut up an old credit card and put 2 pieces where the rubber piece meets the button and put a piece of electrical tape to hold the pieces there...BAM! Problem solved....not squishy anymore and easy for on/off

Got mine and really like it. Any chance BK has mentioned if they're looking at making a high cap top? It's the one thing I wish this had.

For a loader that retails for as much as that one does...shouldn't have to do that

And you don't. If you're picky about how easy it is to turn on your loader, sure, go ahead and do that.

I've been using one of the original prototype CTRLs for about 10 months now. Having a power button with very limited pressure needed to turn on a loader is as much of a detriment as it is convenient. The CTRL was designed for the high level tournament player, and as a result is meant to be able to survive travel. When the slightest of bumps can turn a hopper on, you're wasting battery, wearing the motor, it's bad. Arriving at baggage claim, grabbing your bag, and hearing a hopper turning is not a plus. I've even turned my prototype on while packing my bag. So we adjusted, and made it better for travel. It's power efficient enough that you could turn the loader on before starting to play, before you put on gloves, etc. for a whole day of play.

Cmon dude, I understand you like/support the product but that is just shill level defense there man. The button is poorly placed and difficult to turn on and off when its on the gun and your defense is that because you don't wanna waste batteries on a flight? So what about the other 99.5% of players that will never need their loader on an airplane ride? You design a product for ease of use by the masses not the minority of the minority.

With every loader ever since the late 90s, this was never a big enough problem to do something like this current difficult button setup, don't make a problem up to fix. The above scenario effects literally like less than 500 players a year out of the millions that play

Guys, it's a button... it's a little smushy, it's not a huge issue.

The whole board is seated on rubber grommets to make it more bomb proof for sliding and throwing. The (insane) way people slide in this sport is probably also why the tactile switch soldered to the board has a rubber button instead of plastic.

So a rubber outer button, a rubber tactile switch attached to a board on rubber grommets... It's going to feel a bit mushy.

If you can't live with it, just wait til they release a stealth version of the ctrl which removes the LED/angle sensor and replaces it with a giant button which says 'PUSH HERE SUCKA'

To me its not so much the material or difficulty to depress it with gloves, its the location. With this loader mounted on the gun, there is almost no space to fit your finger to press the button, then you gotta unclamp the feed, twist the loader, repeat to turn it on and off. Why cant the button just be on the back?

That's my only real complaint with the loader too. I wish they had put that button on the back like on the spires. Other than that minor thing it's been a great loader the couple times I was able to get out and play with it. It's definitely the easiest loader to clean out if you break a ball in it when somebody shoots you in the speed feed.

I've used my son's CTRL several times and I like the on-off on it better than Spires. The reason I refuse to go with a spire is the lid and power buttons. I hate the lid opening lever and the power buttons on Spires. That's why I went with the TFX was because at least the power button works better, almost too easy in some cases. That's why I like the positioning of the CRTL power button even better.

Also, I can't imagine someone can't get their finger under there to turn it on or off. I think the hopper sits low, but not so much that you have to unclamp it to do anything with it. I will admit it is squishy but not so much that it feels flimsy or unusable. It just feels like they protected it. Overall, I think the CTRL is a great hopper. I have been so impressed with the ramps and how it feeds almost every ball without having to tilt it all around. If they go back on sale again I might have to get one. I'm sorry I didn't grab one when they were 40% off.
