Really? I like the length/feel of my current standard 68. I'm worried that the 80 is too long since I'm only like 5'9".

Just buy a 77 SL2 bottle from Wicked. Same capacity (close enough), a little lighter and *available*.

I imagine they want the infamous print bottle, not just a random empty one.

For those looking for just a bottle I'd reach out to the team and see if they have any without regs.

77 sl2 bottle is a lot lighter, Id guess 5oz. How much do the powerhouse regs weigh?

Ninja should start adding words like gravity defying ultra super duper feather light to their bottles.

Dont listen to that guy. 68 and 80 arent the same size. 80's are longer than 77 which are longer than 68. It does depend on manufacturer too.

Bottles have changed over the years but Im pretty sure this 80 is much longer than any 68.

That option should be available soon. The first run was allocated to complete air systems though since so many people have wanted to be able to purchase a field ready Powerhouse air system without any extra work needed

I don't know about this one, but my old Pure Energy 68/45 was almost exactly the same length as my current 77. Same for the Crossfire I had.

I doubt this thing is "much" longer.

Right.

For those struggling with newer bottles, they're lighter due to thinner wall thicknesses. Therefore, an old "thick" 68 will be larger in every dimension than a new "thin" 68, assuming all else is equal. Since an 80ci bottle is essentially a 77ci bottle, it's *about* the same size (dimensionally) as most old 68ci bottles.

Thanks for this clarification. I see people post "this is the same size as X" all the time and I'm sitting here like..wut? lol.

So I did some digging around, and it seems that in terms of longest to shortest it goes 80 ci, sl2 77, old 68, sl2 68. So the 80 ci will be longer than the original 68ci. However you are correct in saying that the 80 ci (and all the other newer tanks) are lighter than the original standard 68.

The length comparisons can be found in the following videos
1:10 in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kM3rXYP5JhY
6:30 in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mjR2ufkPq5w

I like the size of my current standard 68, and feel like 80 would be too big. sl2 77 is only slightly bigger and much lighter, so I'm probably just going to buy the sl2 77 bottle and attach a PH reg on it.

It's easy to see other people using something and think you should also. In paintball you should be careful when adding weight to your setup. Unless you are shooting enough paint per point and running out of air, then it's hard to justify adding weight in my opinion. Alot of pros shoot 8+pods per point. Odds are you cant even afford to do that, so you probably do not need to match their setup.
