Compact. I bought one just like it in the mid-late 90's. Still bring out it as my loaner gun. Yours might be newer. Mine has the fat power feeder tube.

There was also an '09 spyder rt. It had a 2.0 rocking trigger and a body different from the rs series.

I just picked up a marker for $20 at a storage auction, I could use some help IDing it, as well as finding out where to get O-Rings for it and perhaps an appraisal. I'd also like the approximate year if possible.

it says Semi Auto cal .68 TARGA on the grip frame, has a side cock cover plater, and a rear cock bolt mod with a sight rail/rear cock guard rail mod.

I also want to know if it'll run as is off HPA

about 95% of all the orings in a spyder are standard tank orings. The only one that is necessary to be factory standard is the one on the striker. It MAY work with a tank oring, but that usually causes recocking issues.

Also, Spyders use an oil lubricant (can be found at bicycle shops, paintball shops, etc.), not a grease style lubricant.

As long as your tank outputs 800psi, it'll work just fine.

If you throw up a picture of it, we may be able to help you better with the identification of your marker.

I personally own the MR-2, and I can say that I absolutely loved it when I was starting out. It's an amazing gun for those who really want to play at a low level of competition.

do you happen to have a picture of a first or second generation spyder from the early to mid 1990's?
