No riots happened in any city. And these offenders are actually being let go. No jail time. Just probation for the "leader" of the attack

Not sure why the DA decided to give the "ringleader" such a sweetheart deal. It sounds like he had him dead-to-rights, and should've thrown the book at him. I'm glad, however, that the victim's family will be suing. I'm also not sure why this wan't picked-up by the mainstream media (unless I somehow missed it.) This is the sort of story for which the media usually salivates.

Its actually happened in October 2015. Though it didn't get much press then either. He just recently plead guilty.
Why the media glanced over this one? Don't know. Would have to look at what else was headlines in Oct 2015 to even try to guess. Why its not headlines now, with him being given a slap on the wrist, *shrugs* I don't know.
Look at that Brock kid that was caught sexually assaulting the girl. Look how fast they moved off that story too. Soon after he got his 3 month sentence the media brushed that off to jump back on its usual narratives
