To be honest, you kind of missed the boat. It's too late in the game to mine profitably at any serious level, and the bubble on overvaluations and ****coints burst two years ago. Now it is simply like any other trading commodity more or less. The thing that really killed it, is that mainstream investment came way too early before the market understood what it was, so when it crashed it made the water that much more murky with blood and bad PR.

yeah same - doesn't make sense anymore to try and mine. Go for the trading if you really want to get into it. Coinbase is good to start with.

yo, dont listen to these plebs^, no offense.

At this time it is profitable to mine at home, you will need to deal with noise which can be done with your own sound dampening or oil cooling.

Otherwise just buy some bitcoin every week when you can and keep it stored in cold storage (trezor/coldcard) and wait for moon.

Coinbase is a ****coin casino and surveillance nightmare, mining is the wei.



Bonus point if you learn to run a lightning node then you will earn routing fees.
