Loved It

I really enjoyed the film.
I spent more on lunch than I did buying it. Definitely worth the 13 bucks.

It left me wanting more. I'm glad the tourney scene was mostly left out. There is a LOT of content already out there.. for free..lol.

Thanks John.

Yeah but there is not much out there on the back end stuff about tournament paintball that would have been great to include about the original NXL/PSP/NPPL battles

The 6-hour, 3 part Director's Cut will have much more on the 2000-2010 time frame...

This sounds right up my alley. Do you have a conservative ETA on availability?

edit: Also, I'd be willing to pay an extra buck or two if I could buy it on youtube. Would make watching it on my tv a bit easier

Some of these "reviews"

We really enjoyed the doc, if you can watch it with old teammates it's even better. Brought back some great memories and was def worth the $13 to me.

We video-interviewed 140 people for the film. Bob was contacted but didn't return any messages. That said, there's plenty about Bob in the film.

A Bob Long interview?

That'll be $5,000.

Totally agree. Was expecting more than just mainly stuff from the late 80ís and early 90ís. Also I donít really remember hearing much about Bob Long in there either.

I enjoyed it. It was a refreshing documentary. I've watched hundreds if not thousands. I own every derder, mwag, traumahead, artifact, and cou tows more series. I watch so much paintball its sickening lol. This one brought in a new light of how things were and how weve gotten where we are. I do agree it was a bit unorganized but I dont think it's much of anyone's fault. You cant go on talking about league development without seeing gun development and feeling out of place. But over all it was fun and enjoyable. Maybe it been a 3 part series roots, leagues, gear advancement would have made it easier to follow. Looking forward to your future projects brotha.

We agonized over the timeline. In fact we did three completely different edits of the film: one a strict chronological timeline, one doing all scenario, tournament, gear, etc. by subject and the one we ended up with. The first two were literally impossible to follow.

The first one went from gear, to scenario, to tournament, back to gear, back to scenario, etc....

The second, following a topic went from 1981 to 85, to 89, to 89, 200, 2004, then topic switch and right back to 1981. Again, no way to follow at all...

The third timeline we ended up using we tried to stay true to the chronological timeline as much as we could, while keeping some continuity. There was no prefect answer to cover 39 years of the game in 3 hours. We felt what we ended up with was best...

Appreciate all of the comments. Thanks for watching!!

I totally agree how you have done it. Otherwise it would be more a "encyclopedia" , that would be boring maybe.
