The problem with the old school blow backs is the operating pressure. 800psi smacking the ball distorts it more than say 200psi from a high end spool would. less ball distortion creates more consistent shots and in turn more accuracy. There are definitely things you can do to reduce your operating pressure. an inline regulator, and spring kit would allow you to tune your marker a little further but in my opinion just ride it out until you can afford to upgrade. let me know if you have any other questions via pm and i'll try to help

I just wanted to bring this gun back to life. It was my first electric marker and I don't think id ever get rid of it so I just want to make it useable. And yes I love how accurate my spool marker is.
