Dangerous Power E2
Please, if anyone has any information at all on the E2, please put it here. I have a few questions about the bolt design. It looks like its the next step in evolution of the Turbine Core Bolt. My question is are the Venturi style holds on the guide rod/stem placed there to lower the sound signature? Are they being used to better control the air flow through the bolt? Is the E2 more or less air efficient than the E1? Is the E2 being used to replace the current G series because the next G will be an upgrade/update so big that it eclipses all previous models?
I would really like to know anything about this marker so if anyone has even the smallest bit of info, please share it. Or at least use this thread as a place holder until info becomes available.

I too would like to know more about the marker. It seems its been out for a bit now but I've yet to see anyone that has one. I wish they would have put the G4/G5 board in it instead of the E1 board.

Me too. If it had a different board I would’ve purchased it already. I like the simplistic look and design and I’m really interested in the bolt design.

If I had info on the E2, I'd share. Unfortunately, I have not had the chance to test it out so I'm not of much help.

Oh I know that you wouldn’t hold an ounce of info in regards to any marker, especially one from DP. I’m just so bothered at how little info there is on the marker. I understand that it’s an entry level marker, but there should at least be some info on the bolt design and the efficiency numbers. The only thing I can find is shooting vids that are all of 30sec long. Just sucks is all.

If I wasnt poor from holiday shopping and buying myself that Impulse a couple of months ago, I would definitely buy it myself. Unfortunately my old lady wont let me buy another marker until at least June for my birthday.

Dangerous Power E2
Howdy everyone! Myself and a friend of mine recently bought E2's and so far the markers themselves are great. They shoot fast, easy to take apart, lightweight, etc. The only issue we're both experiencing with the marker thus far is paint breaking in the breach/barrel. With tournament grade paint, every 4-6 shots we're having to take our barrels off and clean them out. Not quite sure what's causing the issue yet, but I've reached out to DP regarding the breach/barrel breaks and am waiting to hear back from them. Like I said, aside from breaking paint and having to clean my barrel out every 5 seconds, I'm pretty happy with it so far. Especially for only being $200.

Try overboring the paint.
What kind of Loaders are you using? Turn the tension down if possible.
Does the E2 have any sort of BIP/Eye Delay/Bolt Delay?

It is not unfortunately. I had moderate success 3D printing reg seats, but I've since sold my printer. If i get another, I will get in contact. |
