The Official Eclipse O-Ring Finder App is now free to download!

The Official Eclipse O-Ring Finder App is now free to download!

Only available from the Apple App Store (currently) and your device must run iOS13.

It's super-easy to use, just search the App Store for Eclipse Oring Finder, download it, then:

(A) Select any of our current range of markers.

(B) Select any of the assemblies that make up that marker.

(C) Browse the o-rings linked to the assembly.

(D) The o-ring you select is displayed at actual size with a link to buy.

(E) All the links you need to place an order are displayed.

(F) Simply make your purchase from the selected Eclipse Spares Distributor.

Sometimes it's the really small things can make us happy.

Thanks to everyone who participated in the Beta Test Program.

Enjoy!

Now this is cool. Actually surprised there hasn't been anything like it at this point, but I'm not complaining by any means.

Sorry John,

Typo on the iOS version. It should read iOS13. (Apple are still working on version 103! )

There are no plans for an Android version at this time. It's unfortunate but we're a small team with a lot of stuff to do. Sorry.

I can see this being very useful for techs who do frequent rebuilds.

As they noted, they have a small team, and supporting Apple gives them a huge user base with very few different platforms to cover for a even acceptable user experience.

The Android marketplace is a wild west of platforms/hardware that is a LOT harder to give a good user experience, as you can't be sure WHAT you're running on.

Instead of being indignant, it's pretty cool to have this at all.

I actually switched from a Apple iPhone a few years ago so I can't use it, but I appreciate the effort.

You could always make an unofficial app if you wanted.

Good on the folks at PE. This is fantastic and speaks to the level of focus they place on the customer/user experience.

You could just keep your user manual with the schematics and troubleshooting tables of your marker in the gear bag, and have the same thing. Apple users need technical help in walled gardens though; so the demographic they were aiming for is correct. j/k n/k

I have already used this app to repair a fellow player's marker at my local field.

Manuals are not normally kept in my dirty gearbag in order to keep them in good shape for reference at home. This app allows me to quickly and easily ensure I am replacing an oring with the correct size and durometer spare instead of eyeballing it.

Kudos to Planet Eclipse. Offering the most reliable markers on the field and the tools to keep them in tip-top shape.

Take your o-ring and go to fastenal/a hardware store/whatever. You don't need an app, and you sure as **** don't need to be paying the paintball tax on tiny pieces of rubber.

iOS only is lame. I hear your reasoning but, it doesn't make it less lame.

Put the pdf of the manual on your phone. That, or sack up and make an android app yourself and earn the sweet ad revenue from the five other folks who are as helpless as you are.
