Assault 80 Help!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just picked up a Tournament Model that looks brand new for cheap.I do have 2 questions though. The breach is leaning to the left a bit.I loosened the three screws on sides and top front and it did not rotate? What am I missing?do I need to back the screws all the way out or do I need to lay on it?
The reg is loose ,it wiggles but does not leak anywhere. How do I fix that?
Thanks. Where is the Polish Guy, Chewbacca.

What do you mean by your breach is to the left. Is it 90 degrees to the left like for a warpfeed. If it is then you will need to take the screws all the way out and turn it to the right position. The screws go into tapped holes so you have to take them out all the way to move the breach. If it is just a bit to the left then you are SOL. You will have to live with it or figure out which part is wrong and replace/fix it.
On to the reg when you put air to it does it tighten up. If it does I would say do mess with it. If it doesn't tighten up then you may have to screw it in further or locktite it or whatever to tighten it up.
Its been a while since I have seen an 80 so my memory is a bit sketchy about the exact process you go through to do some of this that is why my answers weren't more specific. Sorry

The breach is not straight up and down .It is a few degrees to the left. There is no way to adjust it?What part could be jacked up?

After looking at it closer, the breach is straight, it is the feedneck threads they cut into the body are at an angle.Man this sucks.Original owners said it was like that since day one.It bugs the heck out of me.Anybody no where I could get a new cocker breach?
