I saw a press release floating around that the Team released one of their players for their actions and was wondering if anyone knew about the drama? I am hearing it was on tiktok and a player maybe made fun a kid in a hospital or something?

She made a tick tock over a video of a story about a teen in the hospital and said something like "he doesn't need a vaccine he needs a treadmill". After the backlash it looks like she deleted/privated all of her social media, so people have been tagging/spamming team USA paintball and all their sponsors about it.

I don’t believe in canceling anyone, I didn’t see the tik tok but if she’s making fun of obese diabetic kids, maybe make a tik tok in response making fun of her abnormally large nose or something. Maybe tell her she’s so ugly, and you wouldn’t touch her with the torch of Gondor etc. something like that. I’m just 100% for free speech, no matter how ugly it can get. If she wants to make fun of 300lbs kids, who gives a ****. Fat shaming works for most people. Every time someone tells me I’m gaining weight, I cut down.

not wanting to get into a long drawn out back and forth with yall americans about free speech.

free speech is a thing, but there is also the long lived motto of if you dont have something nice or use full to say just keep you mouth ****n shut. this is something the current population seems to have an issue with.

I am 100% for free speech. I am also 100% for no one wanting to talk to you for not keeping your dumb thoughts in your head.

I mean, why have a mentality of spreading hate and responding with more hate. Your type of mentality is exactly why people in this country are more concerned with being right and spreading their agenda by any means, more than just being a good person and minding your business.

You have to wonder that when she thought " I should make fun of a sick child, people will love that!" why she actually thought it was a good idea.

I saw the Tik Tok! Pretty stupid comment if one is supposed to be representing the best of the USofA.

I can appreciate Trevor taking Voltaire's approach to freedom of speech to the extreme, but it's misguided. This wasn't something said between friends in their house or a private lecture...

This was said on a social media platform where the public is judge, jury and peanut gallery for everything. And of course, behind the curtain is that pesky Terms of Service to keep shareholders happy.

We've always been welcome to stand on a soap box, but speech comes with consequences good and bad. How one uses language dictates whether their peers look at them as pundits or trash.

People who are dumb enough to publicly make fun of a dying child, probably have some sort of personality/mental disorder. Maybe Cluster B, aspergers, narcissism etc. I checked her Ig, looks like she delet d her posts and went private.

Another concern though, is that a couple social media users actually went out of their way and contacted all of the sponsors and pretty much everyone she is associated with. Again, that’s cancel culture for you. Regardless of what you did or said, you should never apologize to these people. You can’t cancel someone who doesn’t give a ****. In fact, if you get canceled, the best thing to do is double down! Better to die on your feet, then on your knees!
