I just received my softer bolt guide bumpers for the DSR and M3, interested to see the difference.

Finally got around to installing the softer bumper o-rings on the DSR and the M3S. Honestly, I do not notice very much improvement on either marker, I used the Buna 50 durometer o-rings. This may be due to me running a single stage can on the DSR, blocked the second stage holes and upped the dwell a little, and on the M3S I have all of the plus parts on it. Both markers are shooting as well as they possibly can in my opinion. The biggest improvement on the DSR was blaocking the second stage on the can and I am fortunate enough to live in Southern California where the coldest temperatures I have played in where 65* so no worry of fsdo.

I installed my bumper oring last night but it was too dark to shoot. Today I was able to shoulder my tank and give this a proper go. After 50 shots or so, single pulls, walking the trigger, I’m not certain yet but it does feel like it slightly cuts down the amount of kick.

After some more testing I am having a difficult time telling if the DSR has more kick then my M3+. I took the M3+ out for some backyard shooting and of course it has minimal kick, but feedback is unmistakably there. My DSR now with all the upgrades ( minus lockdown feedneck and bw trigger ) and Raginís oring installed was used right after. My impression? Hardly any kick.

@Charlie
This is as close to recoil cancellation technology for the DSR that one can get.

Agreed. IMO, the softer oring is the single best thing Ive done to my gun. Its a simple drop in solution for a gun that already has very little recoil. The gun already smooths out once ramping, the oring helps tremendously for both single shots and while ramping.

I didn't feel any real difference when I shot Noa's DSR, I still think people are looking for a solution to a problem that doesn't exist. Anywho go shoot your dsr's.

Has anyone tried a 30 vs the 50 being discussed? Also, I know this is an old post but does anyone have any extra o rings to try?

You are talking about softer Bumpers right?

I was using a Viton 60 durometer Oring for them when I had my DSR. It doesn’t really make much difference in the shot feel. It may be slightly less “kicky”, but the DSR isn’t really kicky in the first place...

Go ahead and try the 30 durometer Orings if you want but I don’t think they will do much more than the 50 or 60 durometer Orings.

Can't seem to find the exact O-ring in Europe. Any DSR owner that can help me get one or a couple and send it to me? Would be much appreciated!

Edit; Got them

Yup. Often we experience exactly what we want to. Pick up the gun on two different days and you'll have two different opinions.

Want a smooth gun? Drop an old 90's stainless barrel on the front of it. Kick will magically vanish.
