Mini GS turns off after a single trigger pull

Picked this up for my 10 y/o used. With a fresh 9v installed the gun will turn itself off after a single trigger pull, either with air or without. Occasionally it'll last a half dozen pulls before turning off. It was used maybe twice, physically looks new. Suggestions as to what I can check?

I would try a brand new battery. If that doesn't work you could have some old dried up paint on the board. You may have to remove the grip frame and clean the board and eyes with some alcohol and a q-tip.
If it didn't fire at all a I would say it could be a improper trigger adjustment or a solenoid issue.

Check the lower board, could be some paint or something of that sort in there.

So the two areas that I would check would be the front grip where the board attaches to the eye board. The second is the trigger to make sure the alignment is correct. That's my guess with the turn of after one pull.

Thanks for the help guys, separated the grip from the body and confirmed all contacts were clean and installed another battery and it's firing fine again.
