1. Events will be held on Saturdays.
2. SEPS will use the APPA system to rank and track players. Online payments and the whole deal also.
3. Open and Novice entry will remain the same($200 open and $175 novice)
4. Field mandates will be set and monitored(quality of field, amenities, reffing, safety, etc.)
5. PBNation is on board with us and this forum serves as the official forum for SEPS.
6. The CFOA scoring system will be used to more closely reflect the teams actual performance.
7. 8 total events and you can drop one event
8. We are adding a field to the series for one event. All welcome AXPS to the series.
9. Fields will have set paint prices for the events but events are still BYOP.
10. Rate of Fire - Open is 12.5bps capped semi or ramping and Novice is 10.5bps semi or ramping.
11. Some events will have a beginner or d5 division for our entry level players

OPEN: No more than one paintball per 80 milliseconds (12.5 bps)

sounds like some positive steps mark, cant wait for the season to start. I know its still really early but are there any tentative dates or do you know which locations will be in which order? aka is the first one at yellow jacket, Ntense, GAS, or asylum?

What about an ultimate ref for all events? I would love to see KP in this position.

Still in discussion. It is really a cost issue and if we have this position, they would need to be compensated.

if you guy's use the appa does that mean we get to play novice if we are ranked as d/4 or beginners

actually in appa, the series can custom design and modify the definition of the ranks and also list players as open, novice, amatuer, beginner, etc. Look at Brent's Indoor rankings. Some players with no history are still marked amateur because Brent knows them and they have been playing ball forever. So to answer your question, it depends. APPA not only provides tracking but also provides the player an online profile so that other teams that may want to pick that player up a place to see the players history and played events. It is not a perfect system but much better than anything else.

Appa also provides online scores that can be uploaded instantly so friends and family can see your progress at the event. The appa system isn't free but the fields are absorbing the $15 per team/event fee to provide another amenity for the series.

that seems like a long haul. how many events are gonna be there?

One event at AXPS. 9 round series and you can drop your lowest score in the series or miss an event and it will be dropped. I believe AXPS will be a great addition and has a great facility.

No field dropped, just added an event. 2 events each of YJP, GAS, NTENSE(one is the indoor) AND ASYLUM. One event at AXPS. Yes, BYOP all events except the Indoor. thanks,

so does this mean we are starting in febuary or ending in november? I'm all for febuary indoor at aylum if they are using the indoor fields

The indoor fees are $250 for Amateur(open) and $200 for Novice. A little more but you are getting more, IMHO. thanks
