There's a nice blue/yellow revi on ebay. However, I cannot justify having 2 revis, along with my other stuff.

I played NXL AC with the elite both days, didn't want to risk running into issues with the G5 especially since i'm currently testing new orings in it. The only problem i had was soft paint jamming in my rotor so i switched to a valken vmax+ that i keep as a backup. I'm obviously a longtime hardcore evil fan but sad to say the evil paint was sup par... Valken redemption pro was by far the best paint available. All the GI paint i tried including 5 star and the evil paint i got fresh off the refrigerated truck had the shells go soft/squishy. It was very humid at the event but for whatever reason the redemption pro didn't seem to be effected as much, it had a hard brittle shell. We even bought old pro team paint (redemption pro) that was loose in boxes and had no problem shooting it. the evil paint i bought was going soft the second i opened the fresh bags. I could tell while podding up it had a softer shell and it jammed my rotor the 1st point i played with it. Fresh HK paint was ok i could tell it wasn't the roundest but had no problem shooting it when it was fresh. On sunday the old HK paint was soft and the redemption pro wasn't. I don't know why but the shell quality of the redemption pro was superior to all other paint at NXL Atlantic city

Not to mention that they want 400 USD for it. I can't justify spending that kind of money on an 8yr old marker. It is beautiful though. I am also watching it just to see if it sells.

Did the E1 have those concentric steps? I don't remember. I though it was only the G5 series.

If what they posted on shopdangerouspower.com is correct it only has 2 modes.
Exact quote from site including very poor wording
"The E2 is a fully electronic marker came in 2 modes, SEMI & FULL AUTO with break beam eye sensor. Total Weight only 1.73 lb with no battery"
2 modes is a big screw up if you ask me. everyone plays 10.5 ramp nowadays

Those are the same modes that were on the E1. Sounds like the E2 may have the same board as the OG. Yes, it would be great if it came with a programmable board BUT......remember what this marker is. It is an entry-level marker with a price point of ~$200. I don't mean to sound defensive but how many markers can be listed that are that NIB price that are full Al, hoseless, clamping feed neck, on-off asa, etc.
There are options for upgrading the board too. APE put out E1 boards and I believe the G3 replacement board or G3 Spec-R boards are drop ins. The G4 will also fit but the power button is a little short (just like a G4 board in a G3).

So no one has info on the E2? Do we need a separate thread? I want to know if third party bolts fit.

The issue with upgrading the board is that by the time you buy the marker and board you are climbing closer to the G5 Spec R price.

Correct. So that's likely why the E-series has the board it does. To keep costs down, keep the marker simple for the target market it was built for, and so Dangerous Power isn't competing with itself.
If the E-series came with, say a G4 type board but at the price they are introduced at, the less expensive E-series would be in direct competition for market share with the next step up in the product line - the G4,and G5 models. That is not an ideal pricing structure for any business to operate on. That's why Chevy doesn't sell basic cars with Corvette engines as stock.
