bahaha I completely understand. I've only really seen a few Extended Cab super's around. Most are reg or Crew, but I just have no need for that much space in the back. Gives me a bit more bed room for hauling this way, and to me, works more like an actual truck truck. No disrespect taken or sent back borg!

got the clone apart last night, turns out its not GTi'd its a gt, with a sprung bolt and a GTi valve, seeing as how the screen is dead, and the grips could stand to be replaced, all that im missing is the transducer manifold and sensor harness.. might as well do it right, just gonna cost more than i was hoping

nah, i traded a silver axe that i paid $150 for plus $70..

granted the lack of GTi-ed ness affects the resale value until its fixed, but i loaded the semi only firmware, so i can go play with it tomorrow if i really wanted to (i also have a stock bolt and valve to switch back if i want)

and i think i've located a upgrade kit for 250, which is a lot more reasonable than the $375 it would cost from macdev directly.. i e-mailed james yesterday, fingers crossed he is willing to help me out swapping parts for a price break

Not a bad deal! I have some grips and a color accent kit for it too. Will have to look to see what else I have floating around for GTI's.

The amount of people who can't tell the difference between the two is astounding. I love my GTI, and even though it hasn't seen the field in almost a year because my teams use Luxes, I can't seem to bring myself to get rid of it. That, plus nobody actually pays for MacDev products at their actual resale value.

and its so funny that they can't, all it takes it to remove the grips on the left and see if there's a 4 wire sensor harness....

current situation is i found a replacement 6 pin screen, so that's on the way. would definitely like some new grips though, and the guy selling the upgrade kit for 250 says he might have a couple partial kits that macdev sent him, so i might be able to piecemeal my update for a good price.

I've got some SPD grips and may have some grips I can shoot you over. PM me in about 4 hours so I remember to check. I have tons of Clone stuff in my box of spares and extras.

GTI grips are the most uncomfortable thing ever. My only one complaint of the whole damn gun. Well, that and the trigger guard, but the trigger guard issue can be solved with some tape.

Wish I would have known that sooner have two new sets sitting on the bench. Could have tossed them in the box for you.
