Yeah everything is tight no leaks. What I mean is if I don't pump the gun all the way back it will a/t but if I burry the pump handle it seems as if the bolt isn't catching. There aren't any adjustments on the gun from what I can tell so I'm guessing maybe it's a machining flaw??

So I've got a question... I've found that the regulator increases in pressure when screwed in, and decreases when screwed out. I don't know what the maximum output of the reg is, but I did find that you can turn the reg completely off.

It also seems as though the maximum pressure output isn't enough to get the hammer to open the valve with any less force, even with the lightest spring. So, there is no sweet-spotting.

So why exactly can people not get their guns to chrono low enough with anything other than the lightest spring? You should be able to run the stiffest spring to get its full range of gun's adjustment.

And that being said, I can't seem to get mine to chrono at 300 unless I'm using the stiffest spring.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Even though you can turn the reg "off" it still has a set pressure range, it might be from 180-280 or something like that,

Also , barrel bore has a bigger effect on velocity than anything else, If your using the stock barrel and small paint its gonna be a pretty low velocity

In addition, the type of paint that you use can also effect the velocity. I have found this out when I have used GI 3 stars and I have noticed that my velocity in the chrono is low and jumping all over the place inspite of increasing the pressure on the reg. I change to a stiffer spring and my velocity has gone up but it is still jumping around. So I have decided to change my paint to evil, which I usually shoots, then the velocity has become consistent and up to the number I have wanted using the soft spring. I have asked my local paintball shop about paint affecting velocity and they have said that it can happen.

thats due to the consistancy of the paint in roundness.

I use decent paint, but it's small out here. Rolls through .679 freak inserts.

well my mvp is good to go just did a complete tear down and reassemble and it works awesome now. Glad I didn't have to ship it to Blast but also good to know that it was an option.

my pump arm wiggles, either the arm isn't wide enough or the tray was machined too much, but either way, it wiggles.

it works great and all, but with the amount of play it has, I don't think it utilizes all the bearings..

I'm reading on the forums that people have NO side to side or up and down movement in the pump arm.

is this a machining flaw? can i get it fixed?

/\ Was your gun reanodized? Multiple anodizing runs can open up tolerances.

um..I don't think it was reanodized, it's the stock teal one, all the screws in the frame and tray are tight too

If it wasn't allowed some room to move around, I doubt you'd even be able to pump your gun. Everyone's has a little play in the handle--that's normal.

Called BLAST earlier today and talked to Zach, the inline regulators operating pressure range is 200-270psi. Suggestion for address farting is to lower operating pressure and switch to a harder spring. no reg tester will be available at this time.

well i just tried what u said zach said, umm still farted if not louder then the lightest spring that i normally use. maybe i need to break in the hard spring cause it was all over the map with chrono readings. ive probably shot about 15 cases of paint with the light spring in it, and the chrono is +-2

yep, i tried the same, it did not eliminate the farting. i am actually running into an issue with the pump arm sticking.

That doesn't make any sense.

Left Coast Customs also makes a pump arm for the MVP very similar to one posted on main page here. I bought one awhile ago and like it quite a bit.

Was a manual ever released for this? Is there at least some information about what size o-rings are used throughout the gun?
