Is the encore bolt in 2.0 worth the money??

Trying to figure out if I should spend the $150 on the encore bolt. Any suggestions or thoughts.

100% yes

I had an ice but went back to my 2.0 with an encore bolt because it was reliable, consistent, and efficient enough for my needs. Now I am building a second 2.0 with encore bolt so I have a backup / loaner.

Eliminates FSDO that can plague the 1.0 - OLED series..

Why does the Ice with Encore not shoot as smooth as a 2.0 or OLED with Encore? The Encore did make my Ice shoot a little bit smoother and quieter, enough at least to make me want to keep it in there. But I hear the 2.0’s shoot better with it.

It should be about the same? Did you adjust the Feathertouch and Solenoid Manifold Screws for the smoothest shot (also Dwell if necessary)?

I have two different Ice’s with the Encore. One has the feathertouch installed and both are dwell tuned ( afaik ). I have just heard that the encore made the biggest difference in the others( 1-oled ), and that it’s somehow smoother then the Ice with Encore. Just want to see if that has some truth to it.

Played a full day with newly install encore in OLED , yes its worth it. The changes made , felt like "new" marker. I like the luxe chuff sound , my Luxe X is missing that , more of a pop.
