Thats the problem, paintball is one of the most volatile industries to invest in, let alone professional paintball. Not even an investment really, more or less a tax write off for people with too much money, thats about it.
Not enough pie and too many hands reaching for it
Very tough business to make a profit in. Good luck to ARod, will always be my boy.
Last time he left Dynasty was because of his music career and time commitments and that's when he dropped down to play with aftermath in semi-pro. Maybe he goes back down to a top semi-pro team to better balance his time.
thats not why he left Dynasty. He got money. Just watch this video, he talks about the move, just start watching from where I have it linked.

Sounds like if Dynasty wouldn’t have bought bob long, and gotten rid of their PE sponsor, this wouldn’t be as big of a problem for them as it has been since moving to F1. Would have been wiser to start a paint company if you ask me

Very well behaved and neat guy overall. I am no longer the PBN troll. Some fool named bargainz took the crown from me.

Im confused where in that segment you had the idea that PE and Field One had anything to do with his decision?

Because when they bought Bob’s company they had to put in a lot of money to get the company going into the right direction. Buying materials, bringing in extra help, California’s ridiculous taxes, that **** adds up.
He is saying (and correct me if I’m wrong) when a majority of your team’s money goes into buying a business you can’t pay people what they probably deserve. If they had kept PE they could have saved a ton more money than what they got now and offered better pay for people to stay and build a younger roster to carry on after the older ones left.
Dynasty staying with PE is a short term bandaid for a long term problem of lack of revenue source. Sponsorship dollars is determined by your performance and how "cool" you are.
The Dynasty team is just a hobby for the guys. Having a company is building a brand and having an income and wealth source that is generational.
Whether they should have bought a paint company vs an equipment company, i dont think is that relevant.
When you run a business you're on it 24/7. If its something you're doing 24/7 it best be something you're passionate about, and i guess for the core Dynasty gang, equipment is what they're likely more passionate about.
Although I do believe a company that manufactures an actual tangible product is always a more complex operation than a business that just performs a service with a non tangible product (consulting, coaching, insurance, lead gen, referals, ect), at the end of the day you need to pick something you're most knowledgeable in and enjoy.
Hope A-Rod brings Ironmen back to the top.
Not saying they aren't a good team but I know they really have wanted to be a top team again for a long time and are constantly in a flux of bringing on really good players and super stars and losing them and rebuilding. At what point does DY throw in the towel for that. If you star thinking about all the roster that have been with them in the past 10 years you almost cringe at how much money they've prob spent without the result they wanted....
Hinmen, Kevin SK, Shane Pestana, Todd Martiez, Mouse, Marcello, Spika, Short, Brandon Cornell, A-Rod, Ninos, Paxson, Keith Devit, Greg Seweirs, Bobby Avilis, Scott Kemp, Alan Goulding, Trevor Ressor.
Don't know what their actual budget is, but I'd imagine LAIM budget is prob bigger than most teams but without the result.
Is it for sure he's going to Ironmen? I think he would really fit well with Xfactor considering Sloviak is gone and Woodley hasn't been fully committed.

Can confirm, Yosh and Fraige are gigantic ****ing tech nerds

No Upping threads. If you have something to say, please do, but don't post in the thread just to take it to the top of the forum.
Do not post "1st post", "1st", "First post" or anything similar (or with any other number) at any point in a thread, even if you post a comment too. It is really annoying and it will result in a ban.
If you don't like something, say why instead of just calling it ugly, lame, gay or any other name. If it is old, simply post a link or report the post with a link to the older News thread.
Please don't post links for places to buy items. That encourages stores, sponsored players and other people to do it and spam the site.
