Great, that means it even more $$ then . If the price was wrong, that’s fine. However, a price and link to pre-order did exist, doesn’t matter if they effed up

Bleh, comments like that are what encourages this bull****. Speed wars has killed formats time and time again and I dont understand why. If you cant win points at 7-8bps, you arent going to win them shooting 10-13 bps with a mech. It ruins what the game is supposed to be. Mark my words, incremental changes like this will continue to happen until anyone can walk off the street and shoot 12bps with a mech and then suddenly, the idea of a format based on teamwork, aggression, and strategy will once again become a battle of who can shoot the most lanes for the longest.

Speed wars is stupid. If you want high ROF, go play NXL or recball. High ROF caused by speed wars had trickle down changes where suddenly again everyone at local fields is all shooting insane ROF for no reason with basic, cheap guns and ruin new player entries into the sport.
Speed wars didn't kill formats.

First off... When you speak for the entire class you usually end up looking like a donkey.

For me the mechanical movement is 100% about a slower rate of fire. What do I care if the gun has a solenoid or a 3 way valve other than ROF?

If the mech movement is not about ROF why aren't R/T triggers or that Superfast Gmech 3 way valve allowed?
That's fine, you're entitled to your opinions, the same as anyone else.

As far as speaking for the entire class, I'm not. I'm speaking for myself and the other voices I've heard playing the format. I honestly have never heard from anyone I've run into at these events or at the field that has said "Yeah, I do this because the ROF is slower."

I just dislike someone proselytizing that one thing shouldn't be about this and that because it should be about ALL of it.

I get that there are "purists" and people that feel they hold the moral high-ground in regards to this sport. But it's those types of attitudes that divide us as a player base and that's unfortunate.

Let people fan the trigger as fast as they want on triggers connected to guns that can go as fast as they can pull.

Bring on the speed, I see no issue looking for gains in mechanical.

I’ve never heard anyone say it either. Tournaments moved to ramping modes because it was impossible to filter out cheater boards. This is not an issue with mech guns. You can pull it that fast , then you can shoot that fast.

Hi my names bob and I’m really against faster mech guns because my fat sausage fingers are too slow. I think we should cap the mech guns, ....dert.

There are already rules in place about things like RT's or pneumatic markers with double triggers so it's not really so cut and dry.

I always felt Planet tried to keep the ROF on the low side with the slide frame Gmek, but players wanted more speed.[/quote]

And there lies the problem, people have far to much expectations on what they want to what is there. Mechanical Markers aren't meant to be shot at High ROF. I have had the option to add a RT on my 98 and A5, but I chose not to because for 1, I can shoot every fast with my finger. And 2, it's cheating.

  1. No Upping threads. If you have something to say, please do, but don't post in the thread just to take it to the top of the forum.
