You can either take the reg off your current bottle or buy a used/new bottle.

Ansgear sells HK extra lite tanks without regs, you can maybe get other brands by working with a dealer, not sure.

You don't necessarily have to either. For example I recently bought a setup that came with a First Strike 77/4500 with the Hero 2 regulator. The rotating assembly came unscrewed twice after filling and then the 1.7(?) burst disk blew. I didn't even get to play with it. Because that reg seemed dangerous but I like the tank I decided to splurge and buy a powerhouse to see what the hype was about. Haven't played with it yet but the quality seems to be there.

Wait. Those actual photos look way different than the rendering. The milling looks much simpler/plain on the production model. Personally, I much prefer the rendering.

only 200-300 will be made. so I guess if you wanna spend $200 now or wait until they sell out and someone sells his 10 extras he bought for $500 lol. sweet idea, cant justify $200 on a reg, but from an investment standpoint this seems pretty legit.

Anyone that thinks so might be disappointed.

Wouldn't mind seeing if production ver comes with the gauge shown in the rendering. Unfortunately, we can't quite see a gauge on a single one of the regs in the photo that was recently posted LOL

The gauges aren't delivered yet, they will be in the next week or so... They have Team USA gauges (as placeholders) on those pre-production display models on display at cup.

We will offer the gauge as a standalone product.

That was intentional since the gauges aren't production.

So what is the big difference between the pro-comp piston & the wave piston?

The pro comp piston with the with the floating seal and one piece jet, is just the newest design for the regs internals. The ďwaveĒ you speak of is the spring powerhouse uses, itís a wave spring not a coil spring, really trick how different they are.
